Had that happen to us once. Turned out to be the hand held remote, the switch inside did nothing. Somehow the button was turned on before the remote timed out. Do you have a remote? Our unit is a 2016 315RKD, not sure if they still use that system. Almost everything now is through your phone or I-pad.

On our unit (2016 315RKD) we have three valves, one black and two gray. One gray is located next to the black tank valve, the other gray valve is near the rear on the drivers side up under the skirting. Bathroom gray tank is the main, extra is the kitchen. Our kitchen is located in the rear of the unit. Here are the specs for your unit, says one 57 gallon gray tank: www.rvusa.com/rv-guide/2015-k-z-durango-fifth-wheel-floorplan-370rl-tr22419Happy Campin....

Easiest way to tell is look at the underside, if the underside is the same color as the top it's TPO. If different color on the bottom from the top it's EPDM. TPO also tends to have a more pronounced orange peel texture on the exterior surface. Both types are easily repaired in the field (depending on the extent of damage). Happy Campin....

With the four point auto leveling system on ours it has a hand held remote that enables you to lower the rear by themselves. The newer units as I understand it have an app or a wall mounted display panel, not sure about them as I don't have that. Read your manual and play around with it to familiarize yourself with it, see what features it has. Happy Campin....

Hank,
Trailer or 5TH wheel? Over the years we have done one night stays without unhooking the 5TH wheel. Got as level as possible, lowered the rear stabilizers just to keep the unit from rocking, pulled the plug from the truck and that's it. Have been doing it for over twenty years, no wheel chocks or anything because it's hooked to the truck, set the parking brake and it isn't moving, so far no issues. Just make sure you reconnect the cord to the tow vehicle. Happy Campin....

I have been running the Michelin LT275/70R18 Defender LTX M/S highway tread, as I don't have 4WD. Had them on my previous truck so when the originals wore out on this truck I purchased them again. Very pleased, quiet and wearing well. Happy Campin....

dragonflight,
What Edd505 said, I have one switch mounted on the wall by the inside steps going up to the bath/bedroom and another on the panel for the tanks/battery monitor. The one on the panel is labeled DS Flood (door side flood I guess), wall mounted switch turns on the amber LED's. Happy Campin....

Have the same switch in our rear kitchen 315RKD, main position on the switch is the bathroom sink and shower, other is kitchen tank on ours. They likely buy one panel and use it on most units. Happy Campin....

Looking at a picture of your floor plan it appears to be the return air for your furnace, would be my guess. Any other vents to the basement? Happy Campin....

X2 on rechecking the valve positions. Also, mine has a note that states: "Do not switch valves while under pressure". Did you have pressure on the system? As Edd505 said, no reason not to work if nothing has changed. Happy Campin....

We have a 2016 Durango 315RKD, had a leak in the sky light above the shower. What ours turned out to be was when it was caulked at the factory there was a bunch of pin holes (air bubbles) in the caulking around the sky light on the roof, one or more of those holes must have went all the way through. Was dripping from a screw head on the under side in the shower. I re-caulked all the holes up there and so far so good, a bit different than a cracked cover. If it were me being your dealer is that far away, I'd just order a new cover and fix it. But that's me, our selling dealer was about that far away too. Happy Campin....

Congrats on your purchase and your retirement (twelve years for me) it only gets better. Can't wait to get out of lock down either. We have done the driveway camping now and then for years. Have all the hookups so works for us. That's one good thing about storing the 5TH wheel at home. Living in S. Calif. it doesn't rain much so when we know it's going too we go out and listen to the patter on the roof, reminds us of when we lived back east. Nothing wrong with driveway camping.Enjoy. Congrats on your purchase, enjoy. As stated by Johnr, follow your manual. There are four books with that year (over 800 pages). Did you receive one with your purchase? I'm on my third diesel, 1996, 2008 and now 2015. All Dodge/Rams, love that low RPM high torque inline 6. Oil changes are determined by one of three things: 500 running hours, 15,000 miles or 6 months - which ever comes first in the fourth gen Ram. Fuel filter changes are not hard to do, there are two. One in the rear by the fuel tank and the other on the drivers side of the engine. On the fourth generation Rams priming them is done by the key or push button. Easy. Send me a P/M if you have any questions. Also check www.turbodieselregister.com it is a Dodge/Ram specific site. Lots of information. Happy Campin....

runaway,
I use a plastic 30 lb. chlorine tablet bucket. It's a bit larger than a 5 gal. bucket. Coil the 20' hose up in it and store it in the compartment under the front overhang. Has worked for me for years. I quit using my bumper years ago, kept getting pin holes in the hose, pulling it in and out. Or you can buy the plastic storage tube and attach it under your unit. I use the bucket cause I have access to those all the time. Works for me. Happy Campin....

Peter,
In the beginning my radio was attached to the antenna/cable system. Disconnected it from that and made a stand alone antenna for it (inside the wall) and it's been working fine ever since. It isn't a Furrion but a Jensen, not that it matters. As far as running two tv's on satellite, you need two boxes. My automatic satellite has two outputs. Happy Campin….

I installed the PI-50 amp hard wire unit w/remote readout, posted pictures on one of the forums here some time ago. Wasn't hard to do, mounted it on the floor behind the wall in the basement and ran the readout so it can be seen in the docking station area. All I purchased was six feet of NMB-6/3 from the big box hardware store. Mounted it in front of the ABS vent lines for easy access if needed. Been in there four years now, no issues "yet". It has saved our behind at least three times so far. Not hard to do, at least for me anyway being a retired maintenance supervisor. The instructions that come with the PI unit are very easy to follow and their customer service is great if you have questions. No complaints here. Happy Campin….

12V comes from the (A/C control box) inside the A/C unit. Remove your ceiling cover and look up in the unit and you should see a box with all the wires going into it. Check for 12V output there. Just worked on one last week. The romex goes in one side (careful with the 120V) and you can see the tabs where the stat attaches. Happy Campin....
