Hey all..we’re from SW Michigan and newly retired! Wife and I decided to try RVing and bought a new 2019 KZ 181RB. Our luck we picked it up a week before the state shutdown so we’ve been RVing in our driveway til things open up! Looking forward to a long summer here in the Wolverine state!

Congrats on your purchase and your retirement (twelve years for me) it only gets better. Can't wait to get out of lock down either. We have done the driveway camping now and then for years. Have all the hookups so works for us. That's one good thing about storing the 5TH wheel at home. Living in S. Calif. it doesn't rain much so when we know it's going too we go out and listen to the patter on the roof, reminds us of when we lived back east. Nothing wrong with driveway camping.Enjoy. Happy Campin....

There are always bugs to work out and improvements to make, so there is no better place than at home to make it happen. Folks that just hitch and go with a new RV often are met with some nasty surprises.

Everything from forgetting to bring forks to "how did the RV guy say to light the water heater?" is lots easier when you're 20' away from a phone or forks.

Congrats on your new rig. Driveway camping's a great way to break in a new rig as well as "breaking in" new owners. :-) Enjoy, and safe camping! Lyle
