Can you get some pictures of the old pin box. I have a 17 and have no issues with more than weekend miles (we 3/4 time) If the is an issue it would be nice to know. The truck issue is the bow tie up front. Talked with LCI today and a replacement pin box is ordered. Hopefully will see it in 10-15 days. edd505. They changed the design in 2017. So the technician advised to call them with the build date of your pin box. Should be on the pin box sticker/decal.

The truck issue is the bow tie up front. I could add a photo however you can not see the difference. An older and updated version of "roto-flex" pin box's look the same. The difference is that the updated version has two metal rods welded in. The rubber dampner is molded to fit over the rods. The combination holds the rubber in place, at least that is how it was explained over the phone. When I talk to LCI again I'll ask for the date they changed to the updated version.

No doubt the pre DEF trucks would not have my issue.😀
The blinds were factory installed by KZ. I think the mounting screw length of 3/8" is also part of the problem. But that maybe the longest screw that can be used. I'll have to take some measurements.
Yes I hope I can get the pin box shipped no later than Sept 12th. Our plan is to leave on the 22nd. The RV spaces are non refundable if you want a spot guarantee the following year. At check out you reserve for the following year or go on the list of those waiting for an opening. That could take years for an opening.

Drove 73 miles to the coast looking forward to spending labor day with wonderful friends. Great weather, Good food and relaxing.
Then the dreaded Monday. Pack it all up and head for home.
Well first the check engine light comes on just after hooking up to the RV.
No info on the dash display, just the warning light. Engine seems to be running ok. So we start for home.
During the drive home the truck seems to run ok. Then out of the blue every down shift or up shift resulted in a klunking sound that was getting worse. Almost home but the noise is getting really bad. Started worrying the transmission or drive line was going out.
Make it home and park the RV. While unhooking I notice the rubber dampner pad from the LCI Roto-Flex pin box is laying in the bed of the truck. Well that explains the noise. The rocking pin box head was metal to metal.
Wife opens the front door and noticed the long "Slow-Rise" blinds are lying on the recliners. One bracket was broken and the screws pulled out of both.
Tuesday I take the truck to the dealer and leave it.
I called LCI and was advised that an updated Roto-Flex pin box was now available. It was redesigned due to the issue I was having. It would require pin box replacement. LCI requested Information about the RV and photos. After review they would decide what action to take.
I contacted Slow-Rise and they advised that only two bracket we're not enough for the 73" blinds. They recommend 5 brackets. So I ordered the parts I need to make the repair. I'll check all the other blinds.
Later in the day the dealership called and advised my truck was ready. It turned out to be the DEF tank heater. This is the second heater in 38,000 miles. At least it was replaced under a special component warrant.
We have a trip planned for the end of September. I can do without the blind but need to get the hitch issue resolved.
So check your blinds for proper number of brackets and check the screws. If you have a LCI Roto-flex pin box made before 2017 you may want to contact LCI to see if yours is the updated version.

Again thanks for the information. I first removed the "Made in USA " label. I could see where the door flap had drug and the corner of the label was wadded up. That seemed to work. Later in the afternoon with the inside temprature at 90+. The door flap was sticking again. I tried different washers on the lower hinge pin but it drug even more. Now at the top. I finally took sand paper to the bottom of the flap. I sanded, tested, sanded and tested until the flap worked like it should. Not sue what washers you used but the nylons slippery. I think the video shows 2, I used 3. I tried 2 and still had a little drag added another and problem solved. We are now set down to 4 because the refrigerator was too cold. At 4 we still have 0 in the freezer and it was 102 outside yesterday. I did not measure the thickness of the washers, but I tried nylon, stainless, and even a real thin wave washer. I bought two of every washer at the hardware store that fit over the hinge pin. ( I took the top hinge with me,) I only tried one washer at a time on the lower hinge pin, Like in the video. Only one washer made the flap stick even worse. Seemed to make it drag on the top. Oh well seems ok now after sanding. We'll see. Camping on the coast for 4 days over labor day. 👍

I'm not sure what happened. I don't see the original thread. So my response makes no sense🤔

I not sure what two lines looks like. Is it made of metal?
If made of steel any good welder should be able to modify a 3/4" bolt to work.
Then a typical 3/4" sissor jack socket for a cordless drill would work.

Over a Year on Goodyear Endurance tires. 4000 miles. No issues.
I had a problem with the original tires in less than a thousand miles. The tread separated from the casing on one tire. I think they were Trailer King brand.

the 1x2 frame is screwed to the floor, the shelves are screwed to the frames at each level. The fit pretty tight in the pantry so did not screw to the side walls. did make the frames pretty snug front to back and side to side so no movement. Have made two trips since doing this and all is well so far. each self has its own frame which is screwed to the one below it to tie it all together. Hope i'm explaining it good enough pretty easy and hides behind the door frame pretty good Thanks, You described the braces just fine. I can see where your bracing would keep the shelves from falling even on the toughest roads.

I just built some shelf supports out of 1x2 material, adjusted to what DW wanted and screwed them in from the floor up to bottom of top shelf. We have the 3911 and pantry is very large so shelves could get heavy and traveling made thing come crashing down. Did you screw the 1x2 to the wall or into the factory tracks? Did you attach the shelves to the 1x2. I just don't trust the shelves as they come from the factory. I'm also thinking about making a pad to protect the pantry door glass. Something that could be rolled or folded once parked. Maybeybe bubble wrap with Velcro tabs in the corners

After years I still find small particles of styrofoam and wood chips below the ceiling vents.

Just fill with air from a clean source, filtered air from a compressor drained of moisture, and free of oil.
Nitrogen does have a slight advantage over 02 in that the molicules are bigger and therefore the tire does not lose pressure as fast. However either buying a nitrogen generator or a tank of nitrogen and a regulator, just doesn't make sense to me. JMHO.
Other than the fact a nitrogen filled tire may hold set pressure longer than plain old o2 I can't see a real advantage compared to the expense.

I have the original 15k coleman AC units. No soft start. I plug the EMS into the pedastal. Then a 30 to 50 dog bone then the 50 amp cord. I have checked for heat at the pedastal, dog bone and cord. All were fine no heat detected. The appliances are set to propane.
I trust that between the pedastal breaker and the EMS I'm safe. Worst case the EMS shuts off power or the breaker trips.
One time I was staying at a friend's property and only had a 20amp outlet about 50' away. So I ran a 20 to 30 adapter. Then the EMS, then a 25' 30 amp cord, a 30 to 50 dog bone, then the 50 amp cord. Turned appliances to propane. We ran everything we needed just fine.
Just because I was curious I switched on one AC unit. The EMS Shut the power off but did not show a trouble code. I contacted Progressive Ind. I was told that the EMS sensed excessive resistance due to all the adapters and long run of cords so it shut off for protection.

Just for information I did some research and found that "Knape & Vogt" make a shelf bracket clip rated at 50 lbs each. #256zc. I'll give these a try.
Then I'll try and secure the shelf to the brackets. Not sure how alot of options.
