I know there are a number of members been fighting the Norcold Polarmax not holding temps. Over a couple years I have found they place a made in America sticker inside on the bottom where the two lower doors join. Remove it and clean the glue. The center flap may or may not work, it has to close fully to maintain temp. If it still does not close you will need 2-4 nylon 3/16 washers from any hardware store,a 5/16 socket/nut driver and a flat screw driver. Next remove the trim on the top of the left lower door, you'll find 3 5/16 bolts, remove them. You can now remove that top hinge, the door should stay. Lift it up and off the lower hinge and set it aside. Clean the lower pivot and install the nylon washers as needed to raise the door. Reinstall the top hinge & check door alignment, make sure the flap is in place putting the door back on. Check door & flap operation. It should now close as it is supposed to.

Again thanks for the information.
I first removed the "Made in USA " label. I could see where the door flap had drug and the corner of the label was wadded up. That seemed to work.
Later in the afternoon with the inside temprature at 90+. The door flap was sticking again.
I tried different washers on the lower hinge pin but it drug even more. Now at the top.
I finally took sand paper to the bottom of the flap. I sanded, tested, sanded and tested until the flap worked like it should.

I think the video shows 2, I used 3. I tried 2 and still had a little drag added another and problem solved. We are now set down to 4 because the refrigerator was too cold. At 4 we still have 0 in the freezer and it was 102 outside yesterday.

At 4 we still have 0 in the freezer and it was 102 outside yesterday. I did not measure the thickness of the washers, but I tried nylon, stainless, and even a real thin wave washer. I bought two of every washer at the hardware store that fit over the hinge pin. ( I took the top hinge with me,) I only tried one washer at a time on the lower hinge pin, Like in the video. Only one washer made the flap stick even worse. Seemed to make it drag on the top. Oh well seems ok now after sanding. We'll see. Camping on the coast for 4 days over labor day. 👍

Yes, thank-you! I will try to print it. Should be at the dealer today or tomorrow. This is the 4th camper we have purchased from them. I told them we should get the buy 3 get 1 free deal! Anyway, we have a lot of trust in them, they have always been good to us, plus they do a lot of extras for us, this will be the 3rd winegard satellite they're installing on the roof, plus installing the fold-up steps in place of the ones they use that fold up into the camper door. Our dealer is Brewbakers of Onaway, in case anyone is interested in a great dealer in MI.
