If it doesn't leak and goes in and out fine, then it is what it is. Square and plumb is not in the RV dictionary.

I don't know if I would completely block the air from the vent, as it sounds like the shoe restricted it just enough so the thermostat wasn't overwhelmed, you need to have adequate air flow thru the burner or the furnace will over temp and shut down.

You might not have done anything cargo wise, but did your wife start collecting memento rocks like Lucy did in the long long trailer? All kidding aside, is the side with the flat springs have an additional load such as the kitchen? Given the poor condition of our roads, I cant say I am surprised your springs gave up. If it was my coach, I would plan on replacing all four springs, also a good time to upgrade the equalizers and shackle links.

Did they hide the switch on the one control touch pad? That's where my FT cap lights are. My rig pre-dates the One Touch Crap, er, Pad. :-) Lyle Oh you lucky dog.

Welcome to the forum. The fact that it's still in one piece speaks well for how it was built.

I have wondered how the Titans pulled, apparently they do OK. Yeah, the F250 /350 are nice, and they do pull like crazy, but until you start towing in the Rockies or the Sierras you are probably fine. I'm at 5,000ft and it's all uphill getting out. Ha! I got you, we are at 5,300 ft. But yeah, all boasting aside, anyone who ventures West better be ready for some mountains. Donner on 80 peaks at 7,227. Hwy 80. between Laramie and Cheyenne you will hit 8,640'. So yeah, bring your turbo.

Hard to say what exactly you have without seeing it, but these guys show profile views with measurements. Steele Rubber

Welcome and congrats on the new rig. There are dumb questions- those are the one that are not asked. This forum is very different from most others. You wont get snarky answers or be insulted for asking something here, so feel free to ask away.

You're missing an important factor: Voltage, I am going to assume you are looking at DC. I worked it backward, to get your amp draw & KW to "work" I had to assume 12.2 DC Volts, which is really low battery voltage. Your Air Conditioner is drawing 130 DC Amps, much different than 130 AC Amps The chart on the bottom shows AC amps- at 1.6Kw (DC) not really a clean correct conversion, but it works out to 13.3 Amps, which is high for a running Air Conditioner, but on par for starting surge, which your monitor may be showing as a peak load. There is also going to be some loss due to your inverter. in short- if you are really worried about what your air conditioner is drawing, get an inductive Amp Meter.

Congrats on the first trip. Yes, you will need a mattress topper, every RV mattress is terrible. As far as the fridge goes, an ice chest works well for those items that you need frequently (drinks, cold snacks) or you can always get a portable 12V refer. link Yeah, big bucks for the Dometic, but they really work well, and can serve as a freezer.

I don't have first hand experience with your coach, so I looked at some internet pictures, based on that it looks like your water heater is under a wardrobe in the RT RE corner. Based on that I would look in the following places for access. To the left of the toilet (facing it, like you would if you had food poisoning) there should be a blank panel. This panel may be held in by two or so small screws that once removed would let you remove the panel. My next guess is maybe the bottom of the wardrobe is removeable- again with small screws or maybe KZ is depending on gravity to hold the panel in place.

Welcome to the new reality of struggling to find campsites, especially with full hookup or just electrical. I have an app called RV Life. You can search areas by city/town and find all kinds of campgrounds. This is the app I have used fro years, reviews by people that have used the park being reviewed. If you don't find the answer to your question in the review you can ask people that have been to that park. I have personally done 90 reviews in 20 states, just checked and it's 75 parks some I reviewed more than once. X3 for the RV life, the trip planner is much better than Good Sam, as it includes every campground, not ones affiliated with GS.

I'm sure its cheaper hosting a forum that doesn't support images. Well, if KZ didn't have so many warranty claims the could spend a bit more on the Family Forum. Just sayin'... At the same time, we wouldn't have anything to b!tch about. :-) Lyle Oh...I bet we could find something....................... I did send a message to one of forum admins. Kinda felt like this

As I said, like a model T . We do run a lot of miles, over 25K so far. And more surprises like this:

I do mine every year. Mainly because of surprises like this. These electric brakes have more in common with a Model T than we would like to admit.

Fixing a bubble in a fiberglass cap is no problem, actual wall delamination is a whole 'nother can-o-worms, for which there really isn't a good repair, or at least I haven't come across one. If it was mine, I would have the cap fixed before I had a new cap installed. Yes, they will repair the damage. It is my opinion that replacing the cap will just cause more issues. Oh, I completely agree. Far more trauma and more chances for something to go wrong when replacing a front cap.
