There are a bunch in the area, but the KOA is the one I was talking about.
Watkins Glen Sate Park is right at the falls.

Not sure if I will ever need both bunks that came with my Sportster TH, so I was wondering if I can remove one of the bunks and add the fold up couch/bed style
Is this possible?

Someone once told me to buy an RV by the dealer, not the brand. All RV's have their share of mfg issues, it's how the dealer responds to those issues that makes the difference. I am so glad I took that advise and bought my Sportster TH from Family Camping Outlet in Pottstown, PA. They have stepped up and handled every issue immediately with great service. Friendly staff and quality service has me recommending them to anybody looking for an RV. I knew within the first 15 minutes of checking out the RV that I wanted that RV, and from them! The issues that I ran into were very minor and correctly quickly. It is comforting to read of some of the issues on other forums and the lack of service they are getting from their dealers and their factories, when I have not been experiencing any of this. Very happy with our KZ Sportster

I would check out Watkins Glen campground at Seneca Lake. Campground is right at the falls, which is a nice hike. Town is a fun place to walk around. Wine tasting everywhere!

Just asking one more time because you were not specific if you checked the outside of the passenger side frame? Did you check on the complete opposite side of the trailer, outside the frame directly across from the front edge of the slide out?
This is what mine looks like. Upper right, just before the step.
Hmm, for some reason, my pic does not come up?

Did you check the passenger frame to see if it already has a connecting rod attached to the motor?

Heading to Castaways for the first time in 3 weeks with some friends. Anybody been there before? Taking the Harleys for some riding during the day, relaxing at night. They have their own beach and tiki bar, sounds like a good time .

I have a Sportsmen 30TH, but I would think they would be the same. Look on the outside of the passenger side frame rail for a rod/nut sticking thru the frame. This will manually crank the slide out.

I was always told that if you extend the scissor jacks more than half way (inside of the scissor angle is more than 90 degrees), then it becomes unstable. So I always used wood to build a platform under the jacks. I think it's worth a try for you. That is a good way to measure the extension, thanks.

I have an 08 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins with a programmer, towing a 30TH Sportsmen TH. Tows great! Found out during our trip to bike week couple of weeks ago that cruise control reacts quicker to hills than I do . Just sit back and steer.

Mine has a rod on the outside of the passenger side frame with a hex nut welded onto it to manually crank the slide in or out.

Old post, but new issue for me.
PI just experienced the same thing two weeks ago at Bike Week. I was using pads and wheel chocks front and back, but it still wiggled more than I liked. I think the issue is even with 2 pads under each jack, the jack is extended so far that the leverage is enough to allow flex in the jacks, which in turn allows the trailer to wiggle. I'm going to buy more pads and try 4 under each, reducing the extension of the jacks. Hopefully this will help??

I had a problem with my decals too. Dealer already has replacement decals, just waiting for warmer weather to put them on.

Checking in from the Lehigh Valley, PA area. Wife and I picked it up last fall for camping and Harley trips. Just got back from a Daytona Bike Week trip. Inexpensive way to have a blast.
Already have 3 trips planned for this spring, including Castaways in OCMD. Looking forward to getting out this year.
