Edd, there are a number of dealers that move inventory to QZ for the snowbird season, about 4-5 months a year. They just have an empty office trailer on a lot during the other 7-8 months. :-) Lyle I think that would be the place I bought from, small office on the lot.

I'd say at least 6 dealers from the PHX area have lots down there in the winter. Not sure about others from out of state. I was tempted to go down while I was shopping, then I realized that it's a one-dealer "show" and the rest is just a big swap meet. :-) Sorta like the majority of "shows" here in the Valley. Virtually all of them are La Mesa. There was one show at Tempe Diablo Stadium (where the Angels have spring training) 2 years ago that was a multi-dealer show. I've never seen another one like it here, which I really can't understand given the huge #s of snowbirds that come to town every year. Lyle

Ocean Grove St. Augustine Fl. Great sales experience and good price. Sales told me about mobile service but when I needed mobile service all of a sudden it was a problem and they couldnt back up sales promises. Service manager was rude and combative. KZ was good and I took it to a closer KZ dealer who doesn't sell durango gold but agreed to work on it. Dick Gore rv in Jacksonville,Fl was very helpful.

Bought our 2019 Connect 261RB from Great Times RV in Palm Beach Gardens FL. Small operation, only sell KZ. Salesman was fantastic and the owner is has been there every time I've been in. After first trip, a few minor issues were discovered. I called on a Tuesday, they said bring it in Saturday. Was there about an hour. Can't say enough about these guys and so far love our TT.

Good techs and service. There is a specific tech there we really like. He has always had good things to say about KZ.

Good... Terry Vaughn in Spring, Texas. I bought my first KZ there in 2007 and my Gold from there in 2018. I got a pretty good price, and even though the salesman answered a few of my questions by saying "I don't know... you know more about these things than I do", I have no complaints. I've been there for service a couple of times and had things done while I waited. I had an appointment for the 10th to get some things done. They worked on it all day and a little bit on the 11th and got everything on my list done. So far, the service there has been great.

We had a really good experience with Motor Sportsland in Murray UT. We initially met Scott the salesman at the fall RV show. He spent a ton of time with us discussing the KZ Durango Half-ton vs the other bunkhouses he had available. He showed us where the KZ excelled and where it fell short. We went back to look again a few weeks later. We were totally waffling over do we or do we not upgrade. Ours was a 2018. He again was great to work with, not pushy or treated us as if we were wasting his time. He emailed promptly when we asked a question. We went there 3 different times before we committed. Damon and Chris in finance treated us fairly, were not pushy and were pleasant to talk with. Our walk-through with Mason was thorough. He knew we were trading in another and spoke to us as experience owners, pointing out differences between TT and 5ers. Overall a great experience. They are a small dealer, family owned and everyone was super helpful. Parts are limited but have everything you need, prices are equal to what we saw at other dealers in the area. I would definitely recommend checking them out if you are in the area. Definitely a very different experience from our last purchase from a nation wide company. www.motorsportsland.com

If you need support while in northern NH or VT, give Steve Dana at CH Dana RV in Monroe, NH a call.
Steve is the son of the company founder and grew up in the business. He is a real craftsman and a gifted troubleshooter. I doubt there is any RV problem that he hasn't seen, and fixed, sometime in his career.
As my local hometown dealer I've relied on Steve for many years. He has never disappointed.

So far Maxie Price RV in Loganville, Ga. does a great job. Sales dept is great, Finance dept is ok, the Service dept so far is awesome. They have been on top of trying to get my camper ready for camping a couple of weeks away. I all ready got it back but will have to bring it back in when they get the new couch in which they said that KZ will take about 4 weeks to get. I just never knew of a trailer having this many problems as mine has and I have not even used it yet. I bought a new one smaller last year and only had one issue that was corrected. The new KZ is unreal with issues. I call it the camper they built on Friday afternoon at 5:29 pm. I just hope it will last till its paid off.

Well, took my D1500 in for some warranty work this AM. Warranty's up in November and I wanted to get these taken care of before then, and hope to have another trip, or 2 in, before it's totally gone. Found out last week that my selling dealer, Frost RV in Tucson, no longer reps KZ. Nearest dealer to me is Always RV in East Mesa. Took it in and met the service manager as well as the owner, both, seemed to be stand-up guys. I know they're busy and I won't expect my rig back for several weeks, at best, but the owner, at least, said that he worked on RVs at they came in and didn't stand for the "you didn't buy it here" nonsense. I hope it's true. In talking to him I did mention that I was active on RV forums, so he's "on notice", as it were. I'm optimistic, but still a bit cynical. We'll see how it goes. I'll post an update after I get it back. Lyle

Good. Halls RV in Albertville,AL on my second camper bought from them . First one was a puma tt it had several problems when we first got it they fixed everything in a timely fashion under warranty . They all are nice people, very knowledgeable and friendly but low pressure sales . Just bought a new clearance sale 2018 KZ Durango 256 rkt haven’t took it out yet but if we have problems I fell confident they will do whatever they need to to make it right . Even if you don’t live near here they are worth the drive. They are maybe not the cheapest but very competitive and in the long run cheaper is not always a a better deal in my opinion.

The Good -
Wilder RV
Clinton, MO
I contacted these folk initially from Seattle, WA. We planned on buying a trailer for living in while our home was being built, and after looking at their prices we decided to contact them. Although they were definitely interested in the sale they were VERY helpful in providing advice to those new to RVs.
When we arrived in Missouri our first task was to look at modulars and talk to stick builders for our home. Near one of the modular places was a rival RV place that was particularly "greasy" in their sales tactics e.g. "Why would you pay cash when you can save money by financing" and "can you buy today"
I next visited Wilder, where they showed us their used inventory (we were looking for gently used) during the walk, looking at their used inventory we saw the KZ and asked to look at it. We were immediately taken by it's suitability for our purpose - Living in and then being a temporary home on wheels as we checked of our national park visits. There was NO high pressure, there was a strange "lets get you just what you need" attitude.
We bought the 251RLLE and the first night we went to bed and as we lay back we heard a loud *crack* and the bed sagged a bit. The next morning I looked in the front storage area under the bed and the main beam cracked right where the beam had a large knot. I braced it and we called Wilder, they made an appointment for us to come in. Between that incident and the appointment our CO2/LPG monitor failed. Wilder took care of both no charge.
I have called them for advice and questions - specifically regarding the "Climate Package" and how the trailer tolerates below-freezing occupancy. They are friendly, respectful and knowledgeable and responsive.

I bought my last 5th wheel from Bell's Camper sale. Bartlesville ,Oklahoma. This is a family owned business. They stand behind there products and have a very good service dept. These people are honest and fair. I bought my first camper from them in 1973; in all I've bought 2 campers and 6 5th wheels from them. No one could be there price or selection. Bells goes over all there campers before delivery then takes you on a tour of your vehicle with no rush at your own pace. What service work I've has done has been prompt. This is a very good company. They are no relation and we don't golf together, only time I I see them is when I want parts or want to buy something. I'm retired law enforcement after 40 yrs and a fairly good judge of people and you can tell this family is honest and have a heart.

Rod's in Madison, Maine has excellent service. I purchased my first camper, a Coyote Lite 18 from them in 2010 and after it got destroyed last fall when a tree fell on it, we bought a new 2020 Connect 241 RLK from them recently. This is a third generation RV dealer and Rod's daughter and son in law are stepping right up to continue in the tradition of excellence.
