Preaching to the choir. Stopped by there to see if they had any MaxxAir FanMates. They wanted to charge me $220 for two of them! They are a part of Camping World and when I mentioned they were on sale for $60 on Camping World's website, the chick behind the counter replied with "Well I dunno how they can sell them so cheap. Looks like you'll have to buy your vent covers there"

Unlike others in this post, our buying experience (almost 3 years ago) went very well. We bought from River City Recreation in Sherwood Arkansas. What little warranty work I had to have done was done to my satisfaction. Having said that, I recently saw that River City Recreation was just bought out by Camping World. Which seems strange because there is a Camping World within 15 miles of River City.

You would think with all the complaints Marcus Lemonis would do something about it.

Not like that has any bearing, but like he said "Camping World has little to no competition. They own it all pretty much. They are rolling in money and control the market. They don't care how messed up stuff is because where else are you going to go?" Sadly, he's about right. Although, as far as parts and stuff are concerned, I am so dissatisfied all the way around with CW, I shop on Amazon and rvupgradestore.com. The latter usually has the CW prices matched or beaten and their shipping is much better. Quicker shipping and much, MUCH better packaged.

I broke my Furrion backup camera power cord and they were the only ones who had a replacement. It was only $13, but they were out of stock. They called me up front after I placed my order and told me that it would be 3 weeks. It arrived (in good packaging) in 2 weeks. I'll definitely use them again. Perhaps someone should start a Good & Bad RV Accessory Store thread

They are a part of Camping World and when I mentioned they were on sale for $60 on Camping World's website, the chick behind the counter replied with "Well I dunno how they can sell them so cheap. Looks like you'll have to buy your vent covers there" The Ketelsen that owned the dealership just sold out last year. He is from Iowa originally and I go to the dealer here that his dad started and his brother now runs. His brother, Gary told me right when they sold and he was obviously upset about their decision. But the brother said he didn’t have any family members that were interested in taking over and wanted to retire. I thought their concentration was a little more on truck campers and fold downs and Gary agreed that they were in a good market for those. All that said, I do buy most units at Ketelsen RV in Hiawatha, IA. I feel that I’m a little more on scene than most and really dislike when starting negotiations that if feels like we are beginning again without keeping previous history in mind. Hey, I’ve bought four units myself from you in the past seven years, and I think I’ve proven I’ll be back. Service is a dept that I make clear that I want to be hands on to the point that they have banned me from looking over their shoulder cause apparently they don’t like being corrected for doing things improperly. I’ve paid a lot for this darn thing and I’m not gonna let things get done willy nilly. In fact I had to call and make an appt today for the front hyd. jacks that are drifting. Factory said a dealer had to test things. Couldn’t just let me do it. Lippert pretty much repeated that. I don’t like to have to drive 120 miles round trip in the hopes that it is done right though. (Facory rep said I could take it to someone closer and I offered up the suggestion of taking it to HWH. It’s only a couple miles from me! She didn’t see the same humor in that though. Don’t know why...)

GOOD - RV Travel World of Sacrmento, CA. So far so GOOD! In March of 2018, the sales person, Billy, did a good job of showing us the features of the 2018 241RLK we were interested in. We purchased a unit at show that was "exactly like" the one at the Show. After looking at their inventory on line I discovered there were some differences but they made the changes needed to make them the same. Swapped out the jackknife sofa for the sleeper sofa and ordered the wind sensor for the awning. They made it right with no argument. We found a few issues at the PDI and they fixed what they could on the spot. They had to order an awning wind sensor and a J Bar for the right side rear which would be shipped to them. They wrote a warranty work order. In the mean time they closed their Sacramento location and opened two new locations, Rancho Cordova, Ca and Roseville, CA. This caused some delay as the part was shipped to Sacramento which was closing and had to be rerouted to the Roseville location. once they has the part in hand a repair visit was scheduled. Dropped the unit at 9:00 AM on Tuesday and I received a call that the four items I had requested were done and it was ready for pickup on Thursday. They had replaced 2 sections of J bar on the right side, determined that the under stair light was incorrectly wired to the hot side of a switch in the forward storage compartment and corrected, and removed and reinstalled/ resealed the screw cover trim around the entry door.
Based on their performance, I would recommend them to anyone in the Sacramento Area.

Just picked up our 2019 Durango 1500 259rdd. Ordered it through Hartville RV in Hartville, Ohio. We could not have asked for a better experience. Our salesperson was superb. She was always keeping us informed as to the progress of the build and delivered on time so we can take the new KZ to the rally. Today was a long day getting the new hitch installed, orientation, and just talking to the employee. Everyone was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and more than willing to explain everything to us and answer our questions. They even gave us a ride to and from a local restaurant for lunch while the hitch was being installed. I repeat, we could not have asked for a better experience...Hartville RV and employees are top-notch....great!

Ditto Terry Vaughn on the good ones. I think. We were going to buy a new trailer from them in Houston. Really liked the salesman. He made good suggestions on options but wasn't pushy. Then the hurricane hit while we were trying to decide between two trailers and the salesman I was dealing with mentioned that they would be selling fast now because Houston people needed to find a place to live. It may have been a selling ploy, but maybe not. Either way, we decided that he was right and Houston people needed trailers a lot worse than we did. One day I hope we can go get the kind of trailer we wanted then, but we've dug in for the time being.

The good or should I say Great!! KZ factory, techs are knowledgeable and go out of their way to fix problems. Kudos to KZ they pulled most of the techs for the rally and left a skeleton crew behind. They fixed every issue big & small for me. They went over every unit at the rally top to bottom. Excellent job KZ!!!!

I agree with Edd505 150% Kz an LCI as I stated in another post were like ant's crawling over an under every trailer at the Kz rally no matter if they were old or new, they spayed slide outs, inspected roofs an re-sealed or sealed where needed an fixed awnings ... Trailers that were under under warrant got stoves replace, slide repaired, lights replaced an other things that were not on the list to be repaired, it didn't matter, if it needed fixed or saw it needed to be replaced it was ... Again a as Ronc an I have stated after last years rally if you were not a Kz believer you will be after one of these national rally's an visiting with the Kz management, staff an Techs at Kz ... Like many others I am a Kz owner for life, they stand behind their product from what I have experienced an saw 200% an if you do not believe it ask the forty eight owners that were at the rally an the twenty owners that were at the 2017 an 2013 rally's who returned to this rally
Safe Travels
