8 years in the RV world is a lifetime, so as suggested, try a local cabinet shop, or an outfit that does cabinet refacing.

I figured it was only hanging when parked, but the weight of the filter coupled with the weight of the hose hanging on it might be surprising. We both know there isn't a lot of structure in RV walls.

Yes!! What Lyle said. IIRR it was Chuck who produced a good PDI sheet that is on the site here..search for PDI and you should be able to find it. Even if you are an experienced RVer, it will help remind you of items to check.

Good thing about this is the water going into the tank is filtered VS just out of hose with the gravity fill. I would keep a close watch on the filter mount, between the filter itself and the weight of the hose there is a lot of weight hanging on that mount.

Good to hear it's still a nice place. Makes me feel even worse about not being able to come to this years rally. KZ took care of some items for us at the factory last year as well, they really do believe in taking care of customers.

Welcome to the forum. Waiting for a new RV or truck makes you feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.

You could always fish around behind the coach taillights to (maybe) find the feed that goes up to the clearance lights, then add a relay so they receive a true 12V from the battery up front. Of course this will require a wire being ran from the front battery. The other question is would the power (PWM) from the tow vehicle actually be able to run the relay. I don't understand why GMC is using PWM power for clearance /tail lights, not everyone has LED lights on their trailer, so really, a good 12 load such as a couple of standard bulbs should cause the PWM circuit to deliver more current. Here is a simple sketch of the relay method, assuming the tow vehicle clearance /tail light circuit would activate the relay.

Yep, poorly done repair, with an attempt to hide it with the mystery stuff. Corrosion (actually electrolysis) like that is typical when the aluminum skin reacts with the steel staples due to the presence of moisture. Your panel was stapled, they were rotted and or removed during the previous "repair". Since it looks like the metal is "backed" / supported by the wooden header and you are going to replace the metal I would use some epoxy to fill / cover the holes, sand it smooth so the butyl tape has something to seal against, then reinstall the window. And yes, you can re-staple the metal to the wood frame.

After finding Ford wants %150.00 to update the nav in the wife's Edge, when I ordered my truck I passed on the factory nav and got the Garmin with lifetime updates. Another advantage of the Garmin is you can move it from vehicle to vehicle.

Another happy GY customer here. Put them on my car hauler after one of the OEM China bombs blew coming back from Vegas. Didn't want to have the same experience with the 5th wheel, so the OEM tires went away pretty quickly. I have probably 9,000 miles on them with zero issues.

This is akin to asking about what's better Ford / GM / Dodge. I am not a strong supporter of the nitrogen way of thinking, so for me, I don't see an issue adding air, as you do more damage to a tire running it under inflated than by diluting the nitrogen.

I wouldn't recommend it, as the battery stabilizes the voltage for the converter.

Hi Welcome to the forum.
If a battery has been boiled dry or allowed to run dry, it's now a paperweight. The most likely reason why the fuse is blowing is because the lead on the plates inside the battery has flaked off creating a short between the plates. So, go get yourself a good deep cycle battery and you should be good to go. A word of warning- carefully mark the wires before you remove them. For example you may have red, black and maybe a white wire going to the positive post as well as a black and white wires on the negative post... so mark 'em before you disconnect 'em..

I have done gen installs where the exhaust exited under the overhang of the 5th wheel & share your concern. At some point Onan developed a side exit kit that sent the exhaust out the side-which we started using. A much better way in my mind. From what I know about the Gen-turi I agree that it needs to be vertical to work, so you may just have to stick with the side exit, but maybe someone will speak up with their solution. I did a quick search and didn't find a side kit, do you bu chance know of a link or have a picture? That might work well if I could find it! Unfortunately it was years ago when I was doing those installs, and even then the exhaust redirect kit was one of those things you had to know about, because Onan treated it like it was some sort of classified info. If I get a chance I will dig thru my archives and see if I have any additional information.

Not to throw KZ under the bus, but RV manufacturers don't always follow "industry standards" and even those standards are subject to change....So, here is my list of color- function:
7 Way R.V. Plug Round
Ground - White
Electric Brakes- Blue
Tail light – Green
Battery Charge- Black
Left Turn – Red
Right turn- Brown
Auxiliary- Yellow

What Kaboom said. This dealer needs to understand their limitations. I never tried to do lino work in house, let the flooring pros handle it. A good floor guy can work miracles.
