Chuck Your build sheet will look kind of like a automotive window sticker. I has all the options, option codes and price I will bring mine to the rally with another that I found online for a similar unit.

Chuck,
The new 2017 2500 Ram trucks are rated at 17,900lbs max with a gross combination weight of I think 24,500lbs. (truck/trailer combined). They will pull just about anything were the problem comes on a 3/4 ton truck is pin weight.
I have an 2013 Ram truck it is a 2500 it is rated at 20,000 GCW. The cargo capacity is 3100lbs and is rated to pull 13,700lbs. While I haven't had a chance to weight it yet with the new trailer I know it will be real close to max. My problem will be cargo capacity. The truck empty with me and a full tank of fuel is 6304lbs, with the DW and the 2 dogs 6595lbs. That leaves me with 2800 for a pin weight. I should be right around 13,300-13,500 on gross trailer weight.
A new truck may be in order, most likely a SRW 3500. I had a 2003 Ram DRW 3500 and while it was a good truck the cost of maintenance was a killer, never again.
Now some general info somewhere in the mid 2000's a law came into effect from the federal DOT that each trailer needed to be weighed and a placard affixed stating said trailers as delivered net weight, pin/tongue weight, gross weight rating and cargo carrying capacity.
So while Chuck and I have the same trailer and the GVWR will be the same the net weight, pin weight and CCC may be different. The stats in the brochures are for general info only.

Try running you vacuum cleaner over the detector. It may have a build up of dust on the sensor. If that doesn't work and you are sure that there is no C.O. or propane present the detector is most likely defective. The should be changed out every few years any way.

RV refrigerator is a Norcold 4door. 2 door freezer on top 2door refer on bottom. No ice maker that I am aware of. Runs gas or electric.
Residential is a Samsung 3door. 2door refer on top 1 drawer freezer with icemaker on bottom runs on 110 volt and has a inverter and should have at least 2 12v batteries.
On the outside the RV refer has the 2 vents in the slide. No vents for the residential.
OK now for the I'll kick myself in the ass part, if you have your build sheet the RV refer list price is $2800.00 the Residential w/inverter is $1800.00. Surprise surprise, I would have never thought that either.

Well you knew that new trailer smell would not last forever. We have had our new Durango Gold for 12 days and I have found a potential problem, hopefully I can cut it off at the pass before it actually becomes a real problem.
Inside the main clothes hanging closet there is a shelf that runs the width of the closet, directly below that shelf is the clothes hanging rod. It also goes the width of the closet and attaches to the side wall in a normal fashion with a flange and 3 screws, one flange at each end of the rod.
Under the shelf is two rod supports, these supports are screwed into the bottom side of the shelf and help support the clothes rod.
This support system is fine if you only hang about 10-15 clothing items. However the DW and I are long timers spending 4-5 months in the trailer and we bring a lot of clothing probably more than we need but none the less once you get over about 20 items the clothes rod starts to bow and put stress on the shelf. It then looks like one good bump and it would pull the shelf away from the wall.
So what I plan on doing is to make 2 supports from the floor to the underside of the shelf positioning them about 1/3 the distance from the wall. Now the only thing I need to find is what color to stain my supports to match the shelf trim.

johnr on your Durango you should have 4 tanks 1 fresh 1black 1gray bathroom, 1gray galley. Your main/aux switch will switch between the gray tanks so you can check the levels. On mine the main is the gray bathroom and the aux is the gray galley.

Chuck
I don't have the RV refer in mine. I opted for the residential refer. Got tired of defrosting and having to make my own ice.

My old M-----a that I had for almost 13 years had a slide mounted RV refrigerator and it made a yearly trip from Ohio to Florida and back without any issues, however it was a Dometic Refer. Yours is a Norcold I do believe and they need all the help they can get to just work properly in normal conditions. Adding those fans may be a good idea from a preventative standpoint.

rvdude if you must stop in St. Louis I would recommend the campground at Purina Farms, While I have not ever stayed there I have seen it and it is nice. I have been to Purina Farms for the annual English Springer Spaniel National Dog Show and have had friends camp there.
I have a niece that lives in Burlington Iowa and when the DW and I visit her we normally stay at one of two campgrounds. We have stayed at the Mark Twain Cave campground in Hannibal MO., but mostly we stay in Galesburg IL at the Galesburg East Best Holiday Trav-L-Park. It has been a few years since we were last there but as I recall it is a nice clean, semi wooded, plenty of shade, quiet park, almost all pull-thrus full hook-up 50amp. Easy in and out not too far off the interstate (I74). Don't know what route you are taking. Hope this helps.

X2 on what lynnmor said, the first thing you must check is if the trailer is level because everything will flex and if not level will not be in plumb. Also don't trust and waste you time with the dealer for a simple repair.

rvdude , they are not open for the season yet. Casey the person who takes care of the reservations is only in the office right now I think on Thursdays. The camp ground opens for the season I think on the 15th but you should hear back from them soon. They are pretty prompt, at least they are for me.

The DW and had the pleasure of staying at Santos state park camp ground as part of our new trailer shake down, provided to us by our selling sealer. This is a very small camp ground in between Bellview and Ocala Florida on US route 301. This camp ground is gated, has 25 large sites all back in with water and 30/50 amp electric service with a picnic table and fire ring, a dump station is provided at the exit gate. All sites are /appear to be level some have gravel drives some have concrete drives. The one we were at was concrete. The camp ground has 1 bath house and 2 picnic pavilions. The park is in a semi wooded area. This park is so quiet and dark at night it boarders on being spooky. At night off in the distance (about 10 miles away) at the crossing in Ocala you can hear the train air horns, just loud enough to break the deafening silence. Ocala is a small city and has everything you could need or want. Bellview is closer and has the basics, Publix, Bealls outlet, Tractor Supply, Opitmum RV, several gas stations and really good restaurants. The park is set up for hiking and mountain biking. It has many trails form beginner to expert. Reservations can be made at this park for up to 2 weeks maximum stay and is priced at $22.00/night. Pets are welcome. The park fills fast on the weekends. If you are passing through or are just looking for some peace and quiet time to reflect I highly recommend this park.

The DW and I are long timers leaving our NE Ohio home in the fall and wintering in Florida from November through March. We really are not hard to please and for the last 5 years we have wintered in the Bradenton area and we stayed at the Horseshoe Cove RV resort. The resort was a Carefree 55+ community in years past. It is an older park and is filled with a combination of park models and trailers was fairly well maintained, clean, with friendly and helpful staff. The park was reasonably priced for the area and amenities at $199.00 for November, $499.00 for December, $3000.00 for January thru March and $199.00 for April. We normally stay for 5 months making our total bill $3700.00, like I said before average for that area.
Sometime during the summer of 2016 Sun Corp purchased all of the Carefree RV resorts and I don't know if holds true for all but this resort did a nose dive after the change. The management team that was put in place by Sun has to be one of the worst to the point were there was so many complaints the head manager was replaced, improvements to the park were being done in peak season so many of the amenities were not available, the roadways through the park were being sealed by the three stooges paving co. and may vehicles and trailers were damaged with overspray including my truck and no compensation was offered for repairs. The 55+designation for the park was eliminated, roll off dumpsters were constantly parked on the roadways and the noise emitted from inside the park increased 10 fold. I am only hitting the tip of the iceberg, to top all of this they increased the rates, not by a little but by a huge amount. 5 months for fall/winter 2016/17 $3700.00 for the same time period next year 2017/18........$5800.00. No Thanks!!
Now for things that cannot be controlled (somewhat). I have been wintering in the Bradenton Fl. area for the past 10 years, 5 years at Horseshoe Cove. I have seen a steady increase of just about everything crime, air, water and noise pollution, litter, over crowded beaches, traffic congestion, soaring prices on everything but gasoline/fuel. Sarasota/Bradenton area used to be a nice place to spend the winter, now it's just a headache. There are many other communities in Florida that are quiet, slow paced, and affordable, for us next year will be spent at Cross Creek RV resort in Arcadia and I will report back about this RV park.

shogunles
on my kitchen sconce lights they are operated by 2 switches, a toggle switch on the wall and a push button switch on each sconce. Those push button switches are notoriously junk, causing light to either not come on or to flicker. If that turns out to be the problem they are inexpensive and easy to replace.
