If they do away with it, I'll try to find a used one. I might go that route anyway....LOL! Hey, I just looked up the RV show, it looks like RV Country is the exclusive dealer for the show...they don't deal in K-Z. Hubby says he's not swaying from the 382, so guess we won't be going to Quartzsite. Thanks for that info though! That dozen't mean that Kz will not have trailers there, Edd505 bought his Kz 5th wheel at Quartzsite from a dealer out of Washington State, so just because one dealer is a sponsor dozen't mean that other dealers are not there ... One owner here on the form took video's an posted on U-tube of going thought different Kz trailers I believe it was last year ...
On the not swaying LOL, we were thinking of toy haulers an I was almost feeling the same way about not swaying till I walked thought the 5th wheel before this one, I an the DW fell in love with the floor plan thus we had a 5th wheel an not a toy hauler
Again Good luck !!!
Chuck
Hey Chuck, Is there any way of knowing if there's a k-z dealer at the show? I pulled up the program, but K-Z itself isn't listed. But other dealers are, I just don't know who deals in K-Z.

Dealer's Can sell many brands, our dealer sells Montana's, Air Streams, Kz, Keystone brands, so just looking for a Dealers brand you may not see everything they have on display ... As I said Edd505 bought their Kz at Quartzsite but the dealer was from Washington State ... Safe Travels Chuck

I knew what I was looking for in a floor plan and had planned on buying used, theirs was the last lot I had visited. I did not see the RV in the show but was told it was brought down for the show and had to be sold or towed back to WA.

Lyle The owner is looking for a place he can hook it up to all utilities for us. Catch is, he's new to the phx area, has it stored at a RV resort storage area. He can't bring it into his housing area for more than a few hours to load it...HOA nightmares. He is actually going to ask the RV resort if he can set it up on one of their lots long enough for us to get a good look and operate everything, or if there's anywhere he can close to where he's storing it. He's supposed to get back to us this evening some time.

He's supposed to get back to us this evening some time. Hope the resort people are nice and let them do that. Our "usual" dump spot in Camp Verde closed down so we dumped at Distant Drums on the way back from our annual boondocker last year. They just had us pull through an empty space rather than use their stand-alone dump facility. Was very nice of them, though double what we normally paid at the Shell station next to McD's. Interesting story about that, though. BIG FW in the next spot was just leaving. 4 kids from about 17 down to about 10. =Very= attractive mom driving the rig and the oldest was driving a smallish SUV. They'd been there before, from the conversation between them and the park attendants that showed us to the dump site. I kidded the mom about "a woman from Texas who can't back up a truck to a trailer must be a transplant." She got a kick out of it. Lyle

Too funny, Lyle! Most of the women I know can't back themselves out of a wet paper sack....but I'm an AZ native, woman, and I CAN back a trailer. Grew up in the sticks, I got put behind the wheel of a truck with a trailer on it before I could see over the steering wheel. My dad didn't have any boys, so I was the substitute. Granted, I haven't pulled anything as big as the 382, but that will change as soon as we get it. I have pulled 4 horses with a bumper pull and a gooseneck, so I ain't scared!! LOL!! And BTW, if you have ever been around the mines and seen the size of their trucks, I have driven the 240 ton haul trucks. Those are big enough a guy who's 6' tall can stand upright inside the tire well. The operator's cab is 12' off the ground.

Got a nephew who worked at Morenci for a couple years and got to drive them. Lyle

I us to teach over the road drivers a few years back an most women drivers I had the honor to teach were pretty darn good an would catch onto backing 53ft trailers quicker that most of the men, seem to have better depth perception ...
Good luck on looking at you unit, just remember to look it over very, very carefully, twist, pull, everything, check walls, ceilings, outside for delamination
Safe Travels

I've heard more than a few supervisors say they would rather have one female equipment operator over 3 male equipment operators. Women seem to want to take better care of their equipment, and are much less hard on them. LOL! And Yes Chuck, we're taking our PDI list with us, flashlights, mirror, etc. Gonna pick it apart.

Check walls under windows, if they are fame-less windows make sure walls are not soft an if real musty smell there may be de-lamination
or water intrusion some place in the unit, check under bedroom slide an all outside slide walls to make sure they do not flex in an out ... Also make sure that all screws are in bottom slide guide rails, if missing screws ask why an check for de-lamination or soft floor ....
Don't ask me how I know owning a 4 year old G384RLT with all these problems Ugh !!!!
Safe travels an goof luck I hope it is a solid well kept trailer, Kz make a good trailer but at time workmanship will suffer Ugh !!!!

Looks pretty promising. We're going to get a good look at it next Sunday. Hopefully they have a plug so you can operate everything. Lyle made a deal! Beautiful, well kept trailer. Shows no wear at all, all seals look good, clean and well maintained. The owner was able to hook it all up for us and we ran it through its paces. We bring it home probably next week.

2019, with 2018 components I discovered. No big deal to me...it's not a deal breaker. So far it has the stove that came in the 2018, 2019 shows a cook top with separate oven. Attachments:
