We have ordered our RV and are looking for the truck. Curious what you all have and recommend? We've test driven F350 and were shocked at the lack of turn radius.... going to be a lot to get used to. I heard the F450 was better..... I've no idea about RAM's or others..... Would like to hear from you experts out there.... appreciate the help It all comes down to payload. A 1-ton SRW would be at its limits towing that much weight but could be done if you don't have too much weight in the cabin/bed to include passengers. Using the 20% rule for pin weight, you're around 3280lbs. I have a 2020 RAM 3500 SRW with a PL of 4100. With that much pin weight, I wouldn't have much PL left for the 5th wheel hitch, tools, etc., in the truck. Recommend a dually for that kind of GVWR.
