I’ve been using the One Control App on my IPhone for the last two years on my 2017 Durango 2500 without a problem. All of a sudden it was updated and doesn’t work anything even after I synced it up with the coach again and again. I called Lippert and they were useless. Any ideas or issues any of you might be having?

I am having the exact same issue. Didn't even bother calling Lippert as I assumed they would be of no help since it appears to be a code issue. I keep checking for app updates but haven't seen one yet.

I down loaded the new app and it won't even load. I have sent numerous emails to LCI asking they put the old app backup so it can be used until they fix the "new improved version" From what I see it's for the newer KZ's as it controls lights, A/C, temp, and a host of other things. I don't have all the items now app controlled on my 2017 just some of the basics. Give us back the old app that worked with our older KZ's. The techs even looked at my phone, an older Android. It works so I will not be upgrading it until it dies. Give us back the old all - please! it worked.

Well, I must be the exception.... I downloaded the new app and it is working flawlessly. Quite frankly, its nice! The only problem I had was when I initially tried the app, I could not connect it via wi-fi. Turns out, it was a typo on my part as I forgot to input the _(underscore) in the SSID network name. Be sure that you input the SSID name and Password EXACTLY as it is on the router. Mine happens to be all caps. Once you are connected, it automatically logs you in and then you can run all of your devices that you could with the old app! Hope this helps!

Wow, I guess I don't D/L the new app on my current phone until I test it with an old phone I have lying around. So, here's a question for the more phone savvy: any way to save a back up copy of the "old" app and reload it?

You would need to ask Lippert (or whoever is listed as the developer in the app store) to give you the link to the previous version of the app. Uninstall the current version, and use the link to install the old version.

I have been asking with no results. The new app does not seem to work with older phones .......................

I was also having issues connecting until I took a picture of the gateway. Then I saw the UNDERSCORE! Worked great after that! I do like the new app as well.

I wish it was that easy. I’ve done everything and it’s still a no go. it. I wish I could get the old app back.

Same here. It is not that I cannot connect to the coach, but that once connected and in the app, if I try to turn on say the cap light, when I hit the switch in the app it waits about 5 seconded then turns itself off. The light never actually turns on. I've rebooted the gateways and reinstalled the app to no avail. Hoping there is a new release soon.

When you set up your app did you match the setting to your rv? I just did ours Sunday and I know there were several different models to pick to match the rv to the app.

Thanks kathyed, I did try to match but unfortunately my model (D325RLT) is not listed. Edd505, glad to hear LCI confirmed there is an issue. Hope they release an update soon.

I couldn't find an exact match to our G384RLT either - but got one that was close and everything works. (got lucky) I was surprised on all the models that were listed that I had never even heard of. I hope you get yours to work soon.

Hello everyone. First, let me say that I'm sorry everyone is having so many problems with OneControl and we are working every day to fix the problems that are reported to us. If anyone in the forum wants to message me directly to troubleshoot their specific problem, please feel free.
With that, let me address some of the issues mentioned in this thread.
Make/Model/Floorplan information: If your Model or Floorplan is not listed, please choose Other or the next closest. We are working to improve our database and hope to have more models and floorplans in the near future. OneControl gets all its information about what it can control and how to interface with your coach from the hardware on your coach. Choosing a different floorplan will not in any way affect how OneControl works.
Older Hardware: OneControl v3 is fully compatible with the same hardware as v2. If you are connected but not seeing any devices please try selecting Devices and then All. If you don't see anything listed there, please contact me so we can discuss what hardware you have. If you include a picture of your Wi-Fi Gateway label, I should be able to determine when it was built and what firmware it has. Please DO NOT post your Wi-Fi Gateway label in the open forum.
Cannot connect at all: I'll need more details to troubleshoot these. Phone, OS version, more details about your coach.
Can connect but cannot control anything: We have been tracking this problem but we need more data. Here's what you can do to help. 1) Make sure you have OneControl v3.1.1 installed. 2) Connect to your coach and try to control a device. 3) Goto Settings -> Diagnostics -> Tap Upload Logs 4) Let me know via that you've uploaded logs (this will help me not have to look through every log to find the correct one.)
These steps will upload a copy of the OneControl log files to our server so we can see what's happening when controlling your device fails. If you would prefer to email me the logs, message me and I will provide an address to send them to.
Again, thanks for your patience and feel free to contact me if you want to discuss the problems you are having.
