Lyle You won't believe how hard it was to get to the zero rest function from my LCD screen not even the app ... There was three people working on it from LCI an after i'd say 5 minutes they finally got the zero rest function to come up Ugh !!! As they stated they sort of make it harder to get to such so owners won't really mess their trailer leveling system up an I have to agree
Should you be able to get to it, yes, can you mess things up really bad, yes, if you read back a bit in the Durango thread I believe Edd505 or possibly jetzen described how to level you trailer with the LCI 6 point leveling system ...

If you haven't got the One Control Manual down load it here: support.lci1.com/documents/ground-controlreg-3.0-onecontrol-owners-manual-rev-a-bTo Set the Zero Point The following procedure works from Standard Mode only. 1. Press the “CONNECTED” icon at the top of the leveling screen quickly 6 times. Wait a few seconds until the gear icon with "OPTIONS" appears 3. The screen will show "SET UP: Zero Mode Press Enter" 4. Press the “Enter button” 5. The touch pad will present options for further leveling of the trailer if needed. The screen will also state "ZERO POINT CALIBRATION - Press Enter to Set" 6. Press "ENTER" 7. Screen will show "Zero Point Stability Check ... Please Wait", followed by "Zero Point Set"

I have to disagree with you Chuck on making the zero calibration hard to find. The key here is making software user friendly. I have had to zero my fifth wheel twice in the last 6 months. The procedure is really very easy and takes just a minute. Not really sure how you could hurt anything during the calibration. My issue is that the app on your phone makes it easy since you can put your level where you want and adjust with your phone to get things just the way you want them.

I'm not saying anyone would mess up the leveling, but as we all know there is that one person who would an then complain about such ... We have never had to zero calibrate our trailer in the now over two years we have owned it an I am one of those guys that if anything can go wrong it will an Mr. Murphy an his family live at our house Ugh !!!
So since the LCI guys were there an I couldn't get the newer app to work correctly since uploading it awhile back I ask for help an they were johnny on the spot An since they were there why not show me how to rel-level the trailer which they did, it was off by very little side to side an front to back, I would say about a quarter inch if that
I have the new app now thanks to the LCI crew an it works fine with our 2017 Durango Gold, our trailer was made in
2016 so we have the older 6 way leveling system which has worked just fine from the touch screens both inside an outside our trailer ....
Again I have to say the guys a LCI during the rally were great to work with an helping with the newer app an re-leveling
our trailer which of course was the one out of a hundred that was hard to work with ...

I will forward the suggestion to make zero point more discoverable again. We always try to balance giving experienced users the features they want while not overwhelming more novice users.

What I was told at the rally is they older systems were a little tougher to get into, they updated the newer systems so it was easier to get into the leveling section an other functions, since my trailer is now three years old I didn't have the updated stuff I now have since the rally thanks to the LCI crew ...

FYI I spoke with George from Lippert this morning to try to figure this whole situation out. It didn’t work. We tried rebooting the modem and that didn’t work. There is some talk about sending out new modems to everybody that has downloaded the app properly but can’t sync between the phone and the RV. They also are working on the app. To be continued.......

Just uninstalled & reinstalled the "new app" and it's still not working with 3.1 Are you seeing your rv's network in your wifi settings? If so, double check that you are entering your username & password correctly. I had issues with mine when I first tried because I wasn't placing the "underscore" and used a space. Example: MyRV_123456. (there is an "_" between V and 1. After I fixed that mistake it connected. If you can't see your network in settings then it probably is a bad modem.

App won't even load, comes back unfortunately one control has stopped. Techs looked at it at the KZ rally early August and couldn't get it working, and it's still not working after multi uninstalls & re installs. Same result since the "new improved" app downloaded, the old unimproved app worked fine. Used the app and message update available, I did and it's not worked since.

I have mine loaded on both my iphone and ipod. Good luck - I hope they figure it out soon. Kathy

Wanted to let you all know that LIppert has sent me a new WiFi Gateway due to the problems with what we’ve all discussed. I am currently camping on the Connecticut shoreline and will replace the old one with the new one when I get home prior to winterizing the fifth wheel. I’m afraid to do it at the campground right now just in case it doesn’t work and fouls up the system. I’m also going to keep it hooked up to the truck at home just in case it doesn’t work and I’ll shoot it to the dealer. George, from Lippert, has been great with this issue. He assured me it’s a matter of just unplugging the old one and plugging in the new one. We’ll see!

Email I was getting quit, maybe they gave up on mine.

I installed the new Wi-Fi gateway today. Lippert sent it to me and I received it this week. Simple to install and everything. The ID and password are changed and assigned to the gateway and it works flawlessly utilizing my cell phone. I uninstalled the app before I put it in and then reinstalled it after.

Well, I must be the exception.... I downloaded the new app and it is working flawlessly. Quite frankly, its nice! The only problem I had was when I initially tried the app, I could not connect it via wi-fi. Turns out, it was a typo on my part as I forgot to input the _(underscore) in the SSID network name. Be sure that you input the SSID name and Password EXACTLY as it is on the router. Mine happens to be all caps. Once you are connected, it automatically logs you in and then you can run all of your devices that you could with the old app! Hope this helps! Jeff I put my pw and Lippert's info in my contact list. I put the PIN there too. Copy and paste works well.
You have to type it in that first time, but gives you a chance to make sure its in there right.
