If you look around campgrounds, you'll see a lot of different systems people have for trying to reduce the wiggle. You can throw a lot of money at products that may or may not work. As nvguy says, it's the nature of the beast, we're sitting on 2 or 4 (sometimes 6) wheels and springs as the main platform.
What I always found with scissor jacks is that once they extend past 90 degrees on the inside angle, they start losing effectiveness. If they are all the way out, they really don't help at all. 660catman's advice to build up a block system under them is solid. Then you get into how much do you crank them down? Some people will say that the jack should only just kiss the ground, others crank it down and lift the camper up with them.
Play around with different ideas and you'll find some combination that you can live with. Good luck!

Hi, welcome to the group! Dumping the tanks isn't nearly as bad as the movies make it seem.

I have used that method, yes. The pressure isn't as great as a regular hose hookup, but it is being directed at a spray nozzle so I'm not sure that it makes that much of a difference.
I also use that method to winterize the flush line with antifreeze and then I leave it hooked up all winter. You want to run regular water through it in the spring prior to unhooking the hose because all the water in the line up to the backflow preventer will spray back out at you.
The line from the inlet should go straight up. Mine comes up inside the bathroom sink, goes horizontal to a backflow preventer and then straight back down to the blank tank. I trust the backflow preventer and am not worried about contamination since the flush line is well above the black tank.

I've seen people get a towing receiver welded to the frame and then people use a hitch type bike rack.
I would take it to a reputable place that installs them and have the trailer evaluated to make sure that the structure is there.

This question might have been asked before, but do you have to extend the steps out all the way? When we are at home, we don't have much width, so we can't have steps that extend out more than the original steps. so, how do these compare to the originals? They are scissor steps, so you can pull them out as little or as much as needed. I've had mine almost straight down creating a ladder-like effect to get into the RV in a really tight space.

Usually RV manufacturers will put a metal plate in the wall to hold the weight of televisions. You could try taking a decent sized magnet and see if it sticks to anything in that area.

Water getting into the heater assembly could cause more problems for you. I'd take it in for service or have a plumber come check it out.

Hi mavrick. I don't have cap lights, but if they are the same as the awning LEDs, I had to change the whole band out when they started to go dim. Is your controlled via a switch or an app?
Edited to add: use your camper's features as you see fit. Don't let anyone tell you not to use them simply because they don't like them. Nobody can speak for everybody. I have a camping buddy who absolutely refuses to use the toilet in his RV. He and his whole family always use campground facilities. Should nobody use their toilet because he doesn't like it?

I think you need to call some professional help, my friend. You're going to have to pay for what it takes to get this job done.

Can you use the water pump winterizing hose to bring water in and divert it to the fresh tank? I haven't seen a newer camper in a long time that has a gravity fill.

I do both, blow the lines out and run antifreeze after. I also can't address the ice maker as I don't have one, but I've heard chatter on it before that the owners manual will have winterizing instructions.

I'm sorry that you're taking it so personally. Everyone has different opinions. Youtube is just another set of people with their own opinions. There's nothing that makes YouTube more right than online forums. In fact, a lot of videos on YouTube are trying to sell you something, or they get kickbacks from manufacturers when you click on the product links. Take all opinions with a grain of salt. We are not professionals in the industry, we're just a group of RV owners who get together on a forum hosted by the manufacturer. We all do things differently, have different beliefs and also live in vastly different parts of the country (which does affect how/why we do things).
When anyone answers a question, they are going to give the answer that makes the most sense to them. Nobody here is going to show up at your home or campground and force you NOT to use a surge protector. If that's the best course of action in your opinion, then use one.
Nobody is taking advantage of you. What could we possibly get out of telling you that it's ok to plug in without a surge protector? There's nothing here that we're going to gain by telling you anything. None of us here are selling anything.
Frankly, I'd said the response is exactly the opposite the way you're interpreting it. If you ask a question and you get 400 responses, then that means that 400 people are going out of their way to try to help you. Take the advice that makes the most sense to you and leave the rest.
Good luck.
