What I normally do is open up one faucet inside and all the drains (plus pull the hot water plug) at the end of the last camping trip and leave them open while I drive home. Once home, I open all of the inside faucets and use an air compressor and blow out the lines. Then I bypass the hot water heater, close the faucets and drains and fill with antifreeze. The very last thing I do is crack open the low point drains and let it run until I see pink, which usually is less than a second or two, and close them back up. I do that last part in case any water settled there during the antifreeze process.
Don't feel bad though, I've wasted a few gallons myself over the years by forgetting to shut the drains, the bypass, the fresh water fill, etc. Usually when it's cold outside and I'm trying to get done faster! LOL I'm sure a lot of others have similar stories.

Hi. I can't see your setup - but this sounds like a really bad idea even if the bumper was modified. Usually even the modified bumpers can't handle more than a few hundred pounds (bike racks and stuff like that). I think the towing forces would tear the frame of the camper apart.
*disclaimer - I'm not an expert, and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!
I would talk to an expert hitch and trailer place - not an RV dealer, but a real commercial hitch and trailer place - to get an expert opinion on your setup.

I don't have either, I'm sorry. Most of those step manufacturers keep a list of specific year and model RVs to know what works with them. I'd suggest giving their sales numbers a call and talk to them about yours.

Hi! It's that time of year for some of us. Don't forget to winterize your flush tank and fresh water connection lines!

Mine is on the wall inside the door. There are 3 switches, one for the main cabin overhead lights, one for the hall light and the other is for the amber door light.

If you can get back there, you could add a mesh screen like we use for our air conditioners. That would allow airflow and block the view.

I set mine to 110 ft. lbs. with an extension to reach the lugs. You could carry a breaker bar with the right sized sockets for both your truck and the camper tires. You can get the cheap one from Harbor Freight which should take care of you in a pinch on the road. www.harborfreight.com/12-in-drive-25-in-breaker-bar-62729.html

Hi. I didn't notice any damage or deformation on the inside wall, but I'll look closer. The lower part of the handle is a little loose.
Thanks for the information! I appreciate your time!

Hi, good morning! Had a little incident during the last camping trip and our handrail got jammed sideways into the RV. i.ibb.co/y6s2R1P/20230905-144151.jpgDoes anyone have any experience repairing something like this? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi. It could be a valve issue. The first thing that I would do is completely flip all of the switches on the fresh water panel. Maybe one of them got bumped and is allowing a trickle of water into the tank. If that stops the water fill, life is good! If it doesn't, it could be the ball or gate valve behind the water panel that is malfunctioning or perhaps installed incorrectly. Since it's a 2022, it should be under warranty if you don't want to do that work yourself.
For the grey water, a lot of people dump food down their drains. That could be what you're seeing?

It looks to me like the 230RDK has a rounded front cap, so you "might" be ok. Might, being the operative word. It all depends on how tight you turn and what the clearance of the cap is to the cab of the truck.
I don't think anyone online can guarantee you that everything will be fine because there are way too many variables that we can't know.
