We had the Garmin DezlCam in our big truck and since we retired have moved it to our tow vehicle for 5er. It gives you the choice to set it for a semi truck of regular 4-wheeler. We leave is set up for the semi and works great for us. You can ask it to set a route for you or to find a specific place, ie fuel stop, restaurant, campground, etc. It warns of downgrades, sharp turns, low overpasses, etc. Do get some warnings of trucks not allowed on this road but just ignore those. It's also a great dash cam. I also put it in my car on a trip to Seattle. Was great to use to find stores, pubs, hotels, etc and to have the dash cam. It helped me avoid the toll roads too!

Just called and left number for call back. Looking forward to the rally and being able to put faces to some of the forum members. We do want to have some things checked on our unit while we are at the rally. What do we need to do to get on the list for that?

Has anyone had to replace the light bulb in the pendant light over the kitchen island. Been told it’s easier to replace the whole fixture then just the bulb. Sounds fishy to me. Not near our unit now.

We camp often in November in our Gold in Montana. We get the cold and the snow. We "dry" camp though. I bring bottled water for drinking and cooking and 5 gal jugs of water for dishes and keeping the body clean. We don't drain anything into our tanks! Yes I know the basement is heated. Not to be gross but we use plastic bags in the toilet and because it is cold when set outside they freeze. Easy to dispose off when we get home. Dishes are washed in plastic basins and water is dumped outside. Obviously, we are not in an RV park. We carry two extra propane tanks and have a generator to keep the batteries up (extra gas for that too). That furnace really pulls the juice both electric and propane. We also use the fireplace to help keep warm and keep the moisture down. We also have an additional electric heater that we can use if needed. We always have tire chains just in case. It has snowed here in August! If you prepare and are ready to adapt a little you can have a wonderful time! By the way flannel sheets feel really good when it's cold.

We just returned from over 30 days traveling in our 366 Durango Gold. Traveled from Montana through Canada and on to Alaska. Went over the Top of the World road to Chicken (100 miles of gravel) and traveled all over on paved, gravel and some rough road. We only had a couple of issues. The closet rod fell down and after hearing of others having issues I was very careful not to overload it. But the design only uses short screws into the top shelf, bound to fail. Reinforced it with a 2x4 from floor to rod and never had another issue. Had a couple screws come out of the valances and low and behold they had been stripped previously. Put in some screws for sheetrock and fixed that. We were prepared with two spares for truck and trailer but didn't need them. Did talk to several people that had flats, broken axles and burned wheel bearings but when you go 60 miles an hour on a gravel road, maybe that is what happens. Overall, we couldn't be happier with how our Durango held up to the challenges we put it through. We boondocked and had a sow and her three grizzly cubs walk by camp. Some of the most beautiful country and friendly people. Hope to return again!

So did they just change out the back of the sofa for a shorter one? Still haven't changed ours out. We are heading north for a couple of months so will have to wait.

Do you have an air conditioner in the bedroom? If not, this could be the "prep" wiring to install another air conditioner.

Thank you to all that served in the armed forces and to all those still serving. Without them we wouldn't have our independence.

Our 366 Gold has a sliding door for the front bathroom. Not a pocket just sliding. In our previous RV we had a pocket door and it came off rollers. It was a pain to fix. Not more pocket doors in RV for us.

Our old unit (not KZ) had a pocket door for bedroom. It came off the rollers and was a pain in the *** to fix. So not sure that I would ever want one again.

We don't have a CD player in our 2018. But we do have a DVD player that is a separate unit that came with our 2018.

Thanks jetzen. We turned sharp in a campground and the corner of the front cap bumped our generator. Not a big crunch but right on the bottom corner of the cap. I'll let our bodyman know about this. He does a lot of work on semi trucks which are fiber glass too so hopefully he'll know what to do.
