Looks like 55K RV trader: link
NADA Base price 52,450: link Edd
that's what I based my price on, looked at both an figured it might go faster with a lower price point, we might even let it go for $40K if it sits to long, one never knows ...
They fif a really nice job of detailing it an setting it up, no cost to use, but to get the darn all states sticker off the out-side of the dinning room slide was a different story, $300 to repaint the spot it was glued onto ...
I made a list of all the add-ons that were put into the trailer an placed it on the counter, still had all the material, Mfg brochures etc that came with the trailer but left out the repair paperwork LOL ...

I can say for the 1st 3 years Kz was very good to me, I got to know many of the Kz folks at the factory, the four year not so good ... I can tell you when you attend the Kz rallies they will bend over backwards to help you, you do get things done beyond the norm in some but not all case's ... It also helps when you are face to face with the folks at the top of Kz ...
You can read my posts in the Durango folder of my nightmare that I encountered not only with the dealer but some of the people at Kz regarding a 2017 G384RLT with de-lamination in the walls an floor replacement for a trailer who set for two years an never moved closed up in my driveway ... Which I was told by not only Kz but my Dealer that my slide seals were ok an inspected my roof both at Kz Rally's an my dealer an stated everything was ok ... I will say that Kz make a solid trailer, ours held together three trips back an forth across the United States, but I change out to MorRyde SRE4000 an wet bolt kit when seeing that the plastic shims in the springs an smaller spring hangers weren't the best ... I also put in the MorRyde "X" factor cross bars to stiffen up the frame from cracking an popping ... Also right off the bat changed out the pin box for a 18K MorRyde even before it left the lot ... Well Lazy Day's tried to low ball me, I was asking $45,000 an they said that was a good price an said they had to ask the President
of Lazy Days for approval. two hours later the guy called me back an stated that he had the approval to pay $29.000 ....
Of course I told them to put their $29K were the sun dozen't shine an sorry I took up his time an that I would let other owners know of their low ball offer !!!
So I took it down to local Dealer who has it on consignment for $45.000, they will detail it, wash it ,put it on their main lot for what ever they can get over the $45K ...
They had three people go over it an said that it was a very clean an well kept trailer, I said it should be for what I put into it !!!

I'm waiting on a call back from Lacy Days RV to buy our Kz384RLT, we have not used it for over two years now an all the money we put in it were sick of it, it's payed off so anything we look at next is only up ....
So if they offer a good price there may be something else in our future or possibly none at all, we have not decided yet ...
I will stick around the form but just won't be a Kz owner any more
Safe trips to all

Hi, Is anyone else's smoke detector very sensitive? In our new Connect 313mk it goes off almost every time we use the stove. We have had the camper out 3 times now and set off the smoke detector 3 times. Any ideas or suggestions? We run the overhead fan an also the stove fan when cooking, also recommend that you can out smoke an carbon monoxide detector every 4 to 5 years...
If you hear you smoke detector going off (no Smoke) an it's not connected to 12volt power in your trailer then its the 12v battery in the smoke detector)
If you hear you smoke detector going off (no Smoke) an it's connected to 12volt or 120voly electrical power in your trailer then its possibly your trailer battery's
BUT !!!
If after you still hear that beeping sound then check your carbon monoxide detector an "make sure three is no gas floating around " see if you can reset it, if it will not reset it needs to be replaced ... Most but not all carbon monoxide are connected to voltage within the trailer, however there are combination an smoke/carbon monoxide detectors that operate on a 12v battery only an are not connected to the trailer internal wiring ...
BUT !!!
It can also be that its possibly your trailer battery's !!!
What I have saw price wise: Ace Smoke detector (12volt only) in our area $34.00 Ace smoke/carbon monoxide detectors (12volt only) $54.00 Safe Alert Model 35-741, 35-742 uses internal power from traile) $145.00 (from local RV Dealer)

As stated it may be faster to call MFG of the Norcold fridge an the Coleman Mach, most appliance's are covered by the Mfg for the 1st year an then Kz the second year, you will see this in the owners manual and the dealer should have told you such ...
I had a furnace go out the 1st month we had our G384RT, called dealer they said three months till I could get such in, called MFG an they stated one of their dealers was just down the road, call them an furnace was fixed within a week from a different RV dealer who didn't sell Kz brand trailers ...

Another thought, if the booster is on you also need to do a channel scan in the TV menu. Edd
Maybe I need to add that to the PDI !!!
"Ask salesman or RV Tec to show you how to operate TV doing a Channel scan" "Ask salesman or RV Tec to show you how to operate TV Booster an it's location"

660catman I can tell you three years ago while traveling back east that all the nice sites with patio's were taken up with full timers.. The travelers got stone either pull thoughts or back site which at times would not include full hookup, some not even sewers, water etc an they wanted an arm an a leg for such ... This year looking around the Area at four different camp grounds I have not seen open camp sites very often... One of the Camp grounds I pass expanded their camp ground to twenty-five new cement site's, the minute they were done they were full within a week with full time construction worker for the most part do to a large anout of building around the area... I would find another independent dealer an have them give you a quote, call Kz Customer service an complain about your selling dealer not getting back to you ...
I would then spend $90.00 an have a lawyer send Kz, your selling dealer an insurance a letter to include pictures of damage an possible two independent dealers estament's of repair coasts ...

I had one that went bad as well. They apparently need to be replaced every 4-5 years I believe. When my original started firing off without any real source to be concerned with, I bought two battery operated versions as a back up. Why cheap out on health and safety. Oddly the original CO/LPG alarm would go off if I sprayed any Lysol spray in the trailer. The new updated alarm does not seem to be effected by it. My advise if you want it; replace it and buy a battery version as well. Might be overkill, but I don’t think so. Be safe. G geezer
Per my RV guy you are correct, they can go bad every 4-5 years
The price on the battery detector for both smoke an carbon monoxide at local hardware store is $54, the regular carbon monoxide detector located on the wall next to the floor was $145, I replaced both ...

as I see it an been told is that camp grounds are cheaper than B&M dwellings by far, thus the surge in full timers in camp grounds ... As well it's easier to buy a trailer than a house, some but not all loans for house's are asking 10 percent down, out here on the left coast that would be 40 or 50K for down payment since most homes out here are in the 400 to 600K range for a shack less than 1400sq ft I'm sure the Mid West states are cheaper in price but a few friends state that even Idaho, Montana, Wyoming price's are gaining steam very quickly an the price's are jumping quickly ... Just got my repair bid. Approx. 8 grand for repair and another 9 grand on top of that if they need to remove and replace the roof for sidewall repair access. Fingers crossed that my insurance sees it my way. Rick relliot
it Seems that Tacoma RV has that 8k to 9k figure as a rule for repair. I took opurs to another dealer here close by an they stated they didn't know how that Tacoma RV could do my floors so cheap ... That stated that it would be %k per floor at the least an it would be two months possibly three ...
There is a collision repair shop in Chehalis called Chehalis Collision that will do RV repair an are highly recommended by locals around the area down here .... I wish I would have known about them when we had our floors repaired I would have ask them how much it would cost to replace such ...
I will say that USAA recommends them for auto repair as well as RV repair, so you might ask what they want for your repairs ....

How old is the trailer, less that one year the Mfg of the equipment ie stoves, frig's, landing gear, Kz is on the hook for anything after the 1st year, ie second year ...Not sure about third year if there is such ...
If you have a forever warranty it covers most everything such as frig, stove microwave ie appliance's an landing gear after the second year, but read warranty carefully, because electric problems go away after third year on Forever warranty ....

Well
Here is sad new I got from the lawyer I saw a month back, if I had pictures of the before damage, the during damage an pictures of the damage (Wall opened Up) Window out on side wall an window out on main side wall he might be able to file a suit ...
He did say it was interesting that I did have documentation of the Service writer saying to tilt the trailer before closing the slide to have the water run off ... He did see that they replace or said they replace the seals on the slides while replacing the slide floors but seeing the pictures of the slide seals being ripped after floor replacement ...
He stated that I should keep track of anything happening in the future, take pictures, document everything an take it to someone else for followup ...
But since I will not take it back to Tacoma RV ever again there not be any need to a followup !!!!
BTW after replacing the censor (see my other post regarding such) I found that the screws were missing out of the radio on the panel over the TV, again thankyou Tacoma RV !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope that KZ Mod who monitors the form reads these posts regarding Tacoma RV !!!!!!

lovegolf44 A few owner on the form have just taken all the theater seating out an replaced it with Amish made furniture or furniture from other bands or types ... You can get Thomas Pain replacements from LCI or Camping World or for that matter most RV dealers since such theater seating is in most brands of 5th wheels ... Safe Travels

As Edd stated low or bad battery, but also carbon monoxide detector can go bad ... Example: I had the same thing happen this past month, trailer has been sitting, propane turned off for a number of months ... I checked an had bad batteries an replaced them with the same brand an amp/volts as what I had an the
carbon monoxide detector was still going off, I reset an it still sounded off, I opened windows, door, turned on all the fans an it still went off
So I went down to the trusted RV repair guy an ask the question, do carbon monoxide detector go bad his answer was YES !!! He stated they can go bad, some even after a year or two, it electronics an things can go bad, he also said if you have a dog that lets off gas they can set the detector off, hair spay, some cleaning materials as well ...
I also talked with a few of our friends locally that have 5th wheels an two of them said that after replacing two detectors
they just disconnect them, I'm not in favor of that but if another goes bad I just might thing about such ...
So I have put in a new carbon monoxide detector from our Repair guy who just happened to have a half dozen in stock
(go figure) (it also told me something) LOL ...
