Lyle You better take out a bank loan now if you want diamond plate:)
I just had to put small squire 2" x 2" aluminum blocks behind the three last screws on our fenders, they kept vibrating out even when I put a little epoxy on back side an within them when screwing them in the fender ...

Hey Chuck, You mentioned in another thread that you found a good local RV tech. Care sharing who that is? I'm in The Everett area. Thanks, Rick Rick Country Canopy & RV Center INC Chehalis WA 98532 Office number 360-748-1975 Dave is the owner, it is a small business, he has no web site, all his work orders are written out, no computer ... He is always a month an sometimes more out on taking in work, he is honest an true to his word, as some would say he is just a good-oh-boy trying to make a living .... He is just off I-5 on Rush RD, you can see his shop from the interstate, it dozen't look like much but Dave an his crew make up in preformace from what you might think at 1st glance from the highway
I say this because we have four other friends that feel the same way about Dave, two with Class A's an the other two with 5th wheels ...

A few years back there was another thread regarding this same issue, many of us took out screens in the faucets as well as cleaned
them a couple of times ...
Our faucet came loose a number of times, finally got it replaced because the treads were striped out after waiting three weeks for the Kz factory to send the new faucet to the dealer...
Once the dealer got the faucet the RV Tech would installed it at the dealer must have a had a bad night an put the handle half way
into the sink instead of parallel on the counter Ugh ! ...
I complained an they had another tech who could see straight fix it while we waited an hour more to pick it up Safe Travels Chuck

Just a note here to think about, our old Coachmen use to make a popping sound because the slide was sticking an need to have a slide adjustment ...Once the slide adjustment was done the popping noise an sticking went away ... I agree on the seals as well, but just in case you might have your dealer or a good reliable RV repair shop check for adjustments Just my Safe Travels Chuck

Well here we go again,
Last summer as you might recall I had slide floors put in our 2017 G384RLT, Dealr (Tacoma RV) said they replaced seals around the slides after replacing floors ...
Well a few days ago I opened up trailer after it had been closed up since we bought it back from dealer last summer, looked at all the seals as I always do when opening up the trailer an found the one seal on the back of the kitchen/ theater section was pinched... So I got out ladder an cleared the pinch section, looking at the inner seal it was ripped an looked like it had never been replaced ....
So it's back to the local RV guy who I trust to get the inner seal replaced on the left rear slide, again I am paying for work that the dealer said they did an I payed for

greydog
A few weeks ago we had to get our Convention / microwave fixed, had no power to it along with putting in a new converter ...
The RV repair guy said that the reason the Convention / microwave wasn't working was because the Dealer when repairing the slide floor screwed up the wiring in the junction box behind the stove ... He stated that the junction box was black inside from overheating an didn't know why the 5th wheel didn't burn down, said we were dam lucky ...
So again Tacoma RV has screwed up an almost cost me a 5th wheel, guzzz maybe I should have waited a little longer an let the darn thing burn down around the wheels as much trouble I've had in the last two to three years Ugh !!!

The 1st year we had our 5th wheel the replaced the TV antenna, RV Tech from Kz said was the 1st one he had seen ... The next year EDD505 had his replaced as well at the Kz Rally ... I also believe that RonC has replace their antenna as well an then went to Satellite ...

What we had issues with is that the recliners an cable releases, Kz replace such the year after we bought our G384RLT in 2017.... So far we have not had any problems with material on the theater seating, but it has sat for over a year an a half with shades closed up an no one using it ... I have seen on the form two or three owners replacing the seating, we are thinking of doing the same thing with a little table in-between, much more room an I can set my coffee cup on a table not on the cup holders in the theater seating Ugh !!! Safe travels Chuck
