We have a 327VIK - which is the 320's fraternal twin. We bought ours at an RV show last winter and right next to it on the floor was the 320 so we had it narrowed down to those 2. The deciding factor was the layout and we couldn't be happier. Last season we towed it all over the eastern US (about 6000 miles) behind our V10 Ford Excursion and had no major problems. The only issues we had were one of the awning motor covers blew off on the highway (warranty covered that) and the weather seal around the outdoor kitchen wasn't applied correctly. We did notice some minor fit and finish issues but the dealer cleared those up as well under the warranty.
So.,. if you're looking at the 320, definitely take a peak at the 327 as well.

We have the SportTrek 251VRK and love it. I came pre-wired for a camera and I'm looking for a rear view camera (not just a back-up but for views while driving as well).
Does anyone have any experience with SportTrek and cameras? Is the mount that already exists made for a specific model or brand?

+1 NASCAR. Would like to know about the rear camer also.
We have the 320VIK also and LOVE IT. Have a 2000 F250 7.3 power stroke to toe with and pulls great. Have not had 1 issue with ours (minor interior cosmetic). Was a huge upgrade for us and with 2 teen girls there's plenty of room for them and their friends.
Anyone with camera info would be much appreciated!

The 320VIK I'm looking at has a dry weight of 7250. Looking at a couple of dealer they list the 320VIK at Dry weight of 7770 lbs another 7250lbs, a difference of over 500pds one dealer stated it sleeps 12 LOL As with others I think you are pushing close to the limit, can you pull it yep, more than likely, as someone said now can you stop it when needed ... I'm sure a salesman will tell you sure, no problem, then ask him if he would drive your vehicle pulling that trailer going down a 6 percent grade a 50mph even 40mph looking you straight in the face when say such ... I'm with others heavy 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton. Safe travels

We have a 2016 SporTrek 290VIK that has been a nightmare since we drove it off the lot last year (brand new). Great floor plan but shoddy workmanship! We are, thankfully, handy with DIY repairs. However, we did have to have a leaky valve in the heater fixed and ended up having to pay over $200 out of pocket. Warranty work can only be done ay a Venture dealer. If you want another mechanic to do the work, they want an estimate, then, they will send the repair parts. Meanwhile, you're out a trailer for days or weeks.

We have the 270 bunk house, and really love it. Perfect floor plan for us. Has it had a few minor issues...yes, but the dealer took care of them without a problem. They should have been caught in the factory QUality Control check. But we very much enjoy iy. Pulls like a dream behind our diesel dodge. Last trip, it averaged 14.6 mpg.

Flipflopgrlnc43 Read my post in "Want to purchase a Kz Trailer" Mike1887 As other people have states, your SUV can pull the trailer, but if you had to make an emergency stop to avoid an accident could you do such, it not about pulling, it's about safety for you an your family Chuck

We purchased a 2017 327 VIK Sporttrek this year. We love the floor plan but have had some minor issues, loose floor board and cabinet doors not closing properly. Some of the bigger issues are lack of heat in the front bedroom. The bunkhouse and kitchen area's heat fine but it can be warm in the bunkhouse and still cold in the main bedroom. My biggest concern is moisture in the bunk room. On cool nights, 50° or less we will have condensation on the walls. Water that is actually beaded up and causes bedding to get wet. The roof vent is open and we have been keeping the door open as well. Has anyone else experienced this? Dealer says that will happen because of people breathing in the room.

I have a 2016 320VIK. Where are you seeing rust? I have a little bit at the rear ends of the tongue beams where they welded caps on them. Nothing other than that.

Many RVs are made in Indiana and delivered to dealers by driving on salt covered roads. The salt is impossible to remove from all the crevices and will be a source of rust for the life of the RV. Next time buy an RV that was built and delivered during a time that salt was not used. I would never operate an RV till the Spring rains wash the highway.

Hi Everyone - Our local camping world has a fantastic end of year deal on this 320vik and it seems a little too good for the price. How do you all feel about your purchase now that you have owned it for awhile? Any buyer beware things you have for me?

Gspeedy2 You can compare price's at on the 320vik's www.rvtrader.com/SPORTTREK-320VIK-Venture-Rv-RVs/search-results?make=Venture%20Rv%7C765322715&model=SPORTTREK%7C764955586&trim=320VIK%7C21060&sort=createDate%3Adesc&I can tell you that there are good an bad Camping worlds. if you read on on the Good Sam from you will see all kind of negative comments on some an others have good reports. It got so bad that the Good Sam form close Camping World RV Sales postings because of the bad comments forums.goodsamclub.com/You might look locally for a KZ Dealer within reasonable mileage from you an see if they can meet Camping world's price, not saying that you may get better service, but Camping World seems to have a pretty bad reputation for poor service an service is 90 percent of what it is all about when buying a camper ... Is Kz a well built trailer, I believe so, but like any other MFG there is good an bad in any of them, some people have little to no problems an other will say that their Kz is a POS. So what I always say is that you have to sort thought the good an bad an come up with what you think not what someone is telling you As well there are some people who love to come to different forms an just trash a product even thought they do not own such, again you have to sort thought theses types of posts You might what to read my post So you want to buy a Kz Trailer ( kzfamilyforum.com/thread/1681/buy-kz-trailer#ixzz52mOynYyB ) over in the Want to purchase a KZ RV? folder on this form Good Luck looking, we have always had a fun time do so when looking at a new trailer even thought it can be sort of stressful at times, above all do not let the sales people talk down to you, if they treat you like a kid or belittle you walk away !!! Good Luck an if you buy a Kz product think about coming to the Kz Rally in August 2018 kzfamilyforum.com/board/13/rally-kzSafe Travels Chuck

One thing to consider when comparing prices is to make sure that the trailers are comparably equipped. Some dealers order a more stripped down version of a trailer while other dealers might order the same trailer with a lot more options. Just be sure your price comparisons are valid.

Thanks for the information. I have been looking and reading for about 6 months so this was for sure well thought out. I did search for nearby dealers and we have one right in the city I live in but they do not carry this line, mostly sportsman and connect, that dealership is also not the best. All comparable models were more $$$ and more than a 6 hour drive.
After much consideration my husband and I decided to roll the dice and make the purchase on Saturday. They were playing the game of end of year pricing as well which annoyed me. We paid 25,099 before camping world fees of about $1000. This is a 2018. The only thing it didn't have was the cargo rack, but that can easily be added later. We have to finalize everything this week and go through our good Sam walk around. Not sure this good Sam membership will help us much, our regular camping spots are more County parks and not near a camping world location for propane fill ups. Not saying we never branch out farther from home but not enough for this membership to help us.
We are in Iowa so no camping for a few months yet which will be the hardest part, now that we finally found a camper we love at a price we can afford we have to store it.
Thanks for the reading and I will come back later after some use to share some of our own experiences.
Happy camping!

lynnmor I'm hoping it wasn't for the PDI an prepping fees Ugh, both of those should have been a free service along with a five gallon pale of junk to keep the trailer clean an a small junky sewer hose Gspeedy2 Your only two states away from the Kz rally in August so you might think about showing off you new camper an meet the Kz people an tour the factory where you trailer was built Safe Travels Chuck

The fees are rediculous for sure, I tried to talk them out of it but it appears to be more corporate crap that is not negotiable. $100 to balance the hitch, $495 for the delivery of the unit to the dealer, $395 for prep, walk through to teach us about the unit and 3 year good Sam, $141 for battery and battery cover. This $395 is the one that bothers me the most. I don't trust the dealership one bit but we sure do love the unit so I hope we gambled correctly.
