Saw this little gem today at the Raleigh RV show. LOVED everything about it..... Does anyone have one of these. Does anyone have anything to share about them good or bad and what are you pulling it with?
Thanks

Hi. I don't think that is a KZ product. I found it under Venture RV: www.venture-rv.com/I see that the GVWR is 8600. I've seen 1/2 ton truck ads lately stating that they can tow upwards of 12,500, but each truck will have its own limits. If it were me, I'd prefer a 3/4 ton with tow package for a camper of this size. I like to ensure I've got more tow vehicle than trailer.

It is a KZ product, just read thru the website. It is made on the same assembly lines with the same people. I agree on the 3/4, or larger, truck. A toy hauler can have hitch weights that vary considerably depending on load.

You are right, a division of KZ. Nothing about the floor plan says toy hauler to me. Is there something I missed?

OH no it's not a toy Hauler. It's got a nice size Bunk house. I did talk to the dealer and he did mention it was made on the same assembly line. My first choice was a Keystone Outback but I have read so many negative reviews on Keystone brand that I went looking again at the Raleigh Show. This is the one that caught my eye and I just wondered what others thought of it or if anyone has this brand. Every brand has there moment of negativity so I am open minded about everything.
I am sure it will be a 3/4 tow truck as I too would rather have more and an more comfortable pulling ride down the high way.
THANKS for your thoughts.

I've enjoyed my KZ very much so far. Only a couple minor maintenance issues that I've had to get it into the shop for. 3rd year of ownership. Not sure about the Venture line, but KZ does offer 2 year warranty where most manufacturers only offer 1.

We have the St270vbh, what a great trailer. Agree heavy 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton tow machine required. Our 2500 dodge cummins pulls it like it isn't there. But of course with 700 ft pounds of torque, it should.

We just purchased the Venture ST320VIK in early March, LOVE IT! We upgraded from a 26 foot Spirit of America. Pulls great with a F250 Quad Cab Ford, wish it was Diesel but it does the job. As for the RV we have had some minor issues but KZ handles all the Warranties for their different product lines and have been great so far. Wish I could say the same for their distributor chosen for the state we live in. Just like anything else you buy today, the manufactures care but the distributors just take your money and leave you hanging and/or waiting (it's not their name posted on the front of the RV).

Ok I just ran across the 320VIK last week and have been doing a lot of research. To my knowledge this is the only bunkhouse model by anyone that has both a island kitchen and a second entry door to the bathroom while still having a dedicated true bunkhouse. The fact that they can achieve all this while still having a full outdoor kitchen is great. We have 2 other trailers on our list Kodiak Ultimate 320BHSL and Keystone COUGAR XL 34TSB both of which are aluminum framed construction. I would like to tap into those of you that have purchased the 320VIK and travel with it a lot to hear if there have been any issues structurally. Every trailer is going to have minor interior issues I want to try and make the best decision on our future RV purchase we can and most dealerships will tell you what you want to hear.

Hello, I have a Sport trek 320VIK. I purchased it this last March and have been using it all summer. We have had the usual little things wrong with a new trailer. No issues, what so ever, structurally. We also like the fact that it has 2 entry doors, full bunkhouse, outside kitchen, etc. We have been on probably 8 trips with it this summer and love it. It tows nice and really haven't had any major issues. Hope this helps.
Pete.

We bough a 320VIK in May 2016. We used it almost 6 full weeks this summer, and traveled over 5000 miles with it. We had nothing but great adventures and nothing go wrong structurally or mechanically (other than a few minor, mostly cosmetic things). We also live on rough gravel, back roads, which means our trailer takes a beating on a regular basis. I spent 3 years trying to find a layout like this trailer, and I am so glad that I took my time and spent the extra money to get the 320 VIK. It has been an amazing trailer, and comfortably fits my 2 young children (one in a playpen on the floor of the bunkhouse), my 2 parents who sleep on the fold out couches in bunkhouse and living room and my husband and I in the main bedroom. The 3rd slide out in the kitchen to allow for the island is the best feature in my opinion. Sporttreck uses just about the best trailer frame available, and has really great construction compared to most other travel trailers in the same class. The only minor downside to this layout is the lack of panty/closet space and the very tight main bedroom. However, the positives well outweigh the cons

I am unsure if you are still searching for a new trailer, however, found this post and felt the need to comment. We purchased our 320 VIK in February of 2016 - used it all summer without any drastic issues. There was a blown outside speaker when we purchased it and did not realize until we brought it home but when the season was over we took it back to the dealership for repair without any issues. We have towed this camper with a 1/2 ton truck without any issues. The two options that absolutely sold us on this particular unit were the outside kitchen and the door directly to the bathroom - both great options to have and the additional door directly leading in the the bathroom was a must with kids. There is a slight lack of storage in the kitchen/bathroom area and the mattress on the bed is extremely thin, but otherwise I could not be happier with the purchase!

Thinking about purchasing the 320vik. I have a 2012 Ford Expedition EL with a 5.4v8. Has a tow rating of 8900 to 9200. Does anyone think this trailer would be to much for the Expedition?

Hi Mike, if my original post from 2 years ago is still correct, the GVWR on the RV is 8600. While you're inside the limit for your Expedition, it seems really close. Remember that towing isn't just about being able to pull the load (which your vehicle will probably be able to do just fine), it's also about being able to stop the load safely. I personally don't feel that SUVs are designed to tow larger RVs. If it was me, I'd be concerned every time I hit the road and I'd look into upgrading my tow vehicle.
I'm no expert, so take my opinion as just an opinion.

The 320VIK I'm looking at has a dry weight of 7250.
