OK, I guess I'll go first and invite anyone who may be interested in mods I've done to our 2008 Spree to drop by my Oz Mods Gallery by clicking on the link below. ;D

OK, Oz has been hanging out here alone long enough. Mine are very modest, but we're just getting started. LOL! I put hooks to hang the broom and a folding stool on the wall between the panty and bathroom walls. Can't travel with them in place though...they fall behind the slide. :-) Also replaced the "upgraded" mattress with an 8" memory foam mattress similar to the one we use at home.

Since my first post in this thread I've continued to mod our Spree and have added pics to my Oz Mods Gallery for anyone interested.

Ok we had our first trip, someone beeped at us on the highway, we pulled over and found that the sewer stuff in the back bumper had jiggled out. Lost our sewer hoses, thanks to Walmart, not a catastrophe. Have you had any trouble or any ideas for keeping the sewer lines in the bumper? We thought the squares were in tight, but we have put a bike rack hitch on the bumper, so maybe it's jiggling to much?

The bumper tube is flexing from the weight of the bikes. The bumper is NOT meant to have the weight added to it. Most rv bumpers are this way

Fix for the bumper caps. Go to Wal-Mart and buy a 4 pack of aluminum tent stakes. Then drill a 1/4" hole through the top and bottom edge of the bumper, and drill through the caps as well. Insert a tent stake through the holes, no more lost items.

Oz, I can't understand hour your profile could list you as a "Newbie". Your mods are an inspiration and I have borrowed several of them for my new 2013 Stoneridge Sportster. Thank you for contributing and motivating the rest of us.

Has anyone considered using the space in the cabinet between the door and the bathroom on the Sportsman and Escape? The is the wood paneled piece that is knee high that you climb over to get into the back pop out bed I would like to put a piano hinge on the top and open it like a pantry. This could be used it for long slender storage like fishing poles, pole lamps, BBQ utensils like a corn or hotdog cooker.
Maximizing space,
Bill from Georgetown Ontario

Does anyone have an idea to waterproof the walls of corner shower in our new Spree. The walls of shower are the same as rest of camper. TNX

I think the walls are a vinyl film over a "masonite" type base so they should be waterproof. I am however, not comfortable with the 1/4 round vertical molding in the corner of the shower and have run a clear bead of silicone up both sides of it and along the upper edge of the shower pan bracket to ensure a good seal and reduce the space for mold build up.

Very cool mods OZ. I really want to relocate my water heater power switch. Can you tell me how you re-routed the switch wiring and what switch/wall plate you used. This would make things much easier in our camper. Thank you!

It appears that OZ is no longer in the Family. Does anyone have the url to his updates that he did. I would like to look at them to see if any of them would work for me. I did try a pm, no response for over a month now. Thanks!
