Very cool mods OZ. I really want to relocate my water heater power switch. Can you tell me how you re-routed the switch wiring and what switch/wall plate you used. This would make things much easier in our camper. Thank you! My apologies for not replying sooner ... we sold our triple bunk bed Spree some time ago and now have a Freedom Express couple's trailer so I drop by this forum infrequently. My Oz Mods Gallery is still online though, including my Spree album ... picasaweb.google.com/114965508600034918003?gsessionid=BQjPV9xpOSf5mekiWuYm3gAs far as the water heater switch is concerned I simply wired an illuminating paddle switch mounted in a surface mount box (both from Home Depot) into the 120 vac source feeding the water heater. With the original WH switch set permanently to the ON position I could then turn power on/off from the much more conveniently located paddle switch. picasaweb.google.com/114965508600034918003/2008KZSpree240BHLXTravelTrailer#5257414727908087426Hope this helps! Hi Oz, I finally found your mods when I googled you in several different spellings of your name, knowing folks use variations of the same stuff. I found you with the spaces! I copied several of your mods so that I can study how to accomplish the same in my 196s. Of course the electric switch for water heater is a non issue, only have the gas version.
Thanks from many of us for checking back.
Dave
