I just heard about this TSD fuel program and did the application. The service issues a fuel card the is honored at most truck stops. With it you pay at the pump, no dollar limit so you don't have to run a debit a couple times to fuel, and can get cash off the card. It links to your bank. My card came yesterday and the card has EFS across it, Electronic Fuel Service, same thing I used with my commercial truck, most commercial drivers are familiar with the program.
Basically this is how it works, TSD negotiates fuel rates and buys in bulk. They get discount for the bulk buy and pass it down. Their "cut" is .05per gallon so they make a little for every gallon sold. They just recently opened this up to RVers as many drive diesel trucks and there are many Diesel motor home. Adding the RV's boosts their sales and profit. I know what I saved in the commercial truck and thought I would pass this along.
Happy Motoring and Happy New year. Edd

I know we have members that use the truck stops for fuel, I see no down side in the fuel program other than not all stops participate. Reading more from the sites member area looks like about .50 off a gallon at the truck stops that participate, mainly Flying J and Loves. There are T/A's, AmBest & Sapp Brothers participating and stops in every state listed by city. Daily prices are in a spread sheet so it does take a bit to find current pricing , I'll likely check my route and see whats available. I'm also a gas buddy user and will watch both for price comparison, I'll add as I learn more.

Yes. Yesterday in Albuquerque Loves posted price 3.09 with the fuel card 2.81 per their web site, I checked before I left home. I found a single place on Gas Buddy that I had been to before @ 2.57 so I filled there. The price at Loves was pretty close to most of the service stations, so those that like the room of truck stops this would be a big savings. The fuel card gets .05 per gallon as their "cut" just not sure if that comes from the discount amount or as a fee after. Either way you would be saving .45 per gallon. They have a phone app that shows the purchase & savings at each fill.

Update on program. I am currently in Tucson AZ and Gas Buddy shows lowest diesel @ $2.89 the EFS fuel shows the lowest price the Pilot Truck stop @ $2.67. So far the cards works as advertised & for those that like to fuel at truck stops I definitionally would get the card. Stay tuned as I watch for a down side.

I have had my card for a couple months now and I use it even if I am not towing at the local Loved truck stop . Remember it will only work in the truck Lanes and not in the auto side of the truck stops . Happy fueling

I tried Bio once, mileage dropped in half and it's already not good towing. BTW, $2.36 today in NM, $46 and change savings.

I ran 99% biodiesel for a while in my '02 D'max. Truck loved it. Better mileage, ran quieter and smelled like french fries going down the road. Was a plant making it about 8 miles from me, so if price wasn't well below street price, I wouldn't make the trip. They ended up stopping retail sales and were only selling bulk with a 250 gal minimum, which I =seriously= thought about buying a tank to be able to buy from them. Lyle

Wow... with diesel in the 240's to 250's in my area, this could make it really cheap for me! I just haven't had the time to check into it.

For those looking into the TSD card there is an update. It seams Pilot/FlyJ has a contract with Good Sams that's .05 a gallon off. Marcus has told TSD they have an exclusive contract & threatened suit, in a few days the TSD cards not going to work at P/FJ. The card still works at many others, loves, T/A etc. Marcus has his undies in a bunch and until that's resolved I'll head to one of the others. The GS .05 is a joke when the others are .50 or more. I suspect Marcus was getting some type kick back from them and the cards cutting into his profits.

Paid $2.09 for gas about 5 days ago and $1.99 yesterday; both at Costco. Gasbuddy shows $1.97 lowest in the PHX Metro area for gas and $1.96 for diesel. Insane price just S of me a few miles, in a =retirement= area. $3 f'n 15! Lots of places still listed at $2.99 around town and near me, I've seen $2.69. F'n =insane= for people to pay those prices when a Costco or Sam's is only a few miles away. Lyle
