We purchased our KZ Venom from Folsom Lake RV, Folsom Ca. Sales experience was (Good) fair & competitive pricing.
Service experiences have been (Good). In fact they went above and beyond regarding a tire problem we had. The service department is busy so appointments can be out over a month.

I bring a new TT home and notice that the RR wheel is pushed up and forward like someone backed it into a curb. Take it to the dealer and he keeps it for three weeks. I call and tell him I will be over for it. When I get there, I am told that they checked it and there is nothing wrong. I take it home and recheck and it is bent considerably, (3/4" forward and up, you can see it from 100 yards away), so I order new axles and replace them on my dime. The worst axle is sent to KZ, they send it to AL-KO and they say yes it is bent but I must have overloaded it. Remember it is bent forward so that is nonsense. The trailer was not overloaded and I didn't damage it in any way. Know that I have a tool & die shop and have the tools and skills to do the measurements and mechanical work, other customers might be fooled by such a corrupt dealer. Warranty is useless with a dealer that sells damaged trailers and makes a fool of his customers. I would bet that the dealer is the one that backed the trailer into a curb, when he took it to the show, and knew very well what happened. I did not post all of this before and didn't want to get in a contest, but I was called out. Who's the dealer? Where are they located?

Since the dealer with that kind of attitude might sue me, I’ll just say my zip code is 17356, look up dealers on the KZ website.

lynnmor They can't sue you if it's the truth or you sign a non dis-closer form not telling anyone how bad they were People post about dealers good an bad all over the internet, dealers even ask to post comments on some of their web pages. Look over on the Montana web page, you will see a number of comments regard dealers good an bad As well the Good Sam RV web page, as well many other band forms do the same Owners should know before they buy so they will not get stung like you, the more that people know the good an bad of dealers the more the dealers may take notice. Not saying a dealer will change but the more you talk about them if they are bad, the more they will take notice, the power of the internet is as you known is becoming more an more important for company's no matter who they are or what they sell My dealer knows that they are talked about, since they also sell Montana's one owner of a Montana had major problems with his frame an side walls. He told our dealer that he was posting on the internet on the Montana an Good Sam RV form's an had a following well over a couple of hundred people, they took notice an ask if there was other forms an that owners would do the same as what he was doing, he stated yes. He said after that they were bending over backwards to help with his problems, so if more people post about the good or bad of dealers the more they are going to take notice that their name is posted all over the internet Please post the name so we can warn others, that's why I started this folder Safe Travels Chuck

In fact they went above and beyond regarding a tire problem we had. The service department is busy so appointments can be out over a month. Sorry for the topic derail, but for me this is good to hear, I worked there for several years as a service foreman. The owner (who shall remain nameless, otherwise EVERYONE says they are his long lost cousin/ friend/ neighbor and wants a deal) is very customer service oriented. He got into the RV biz because of a bad experience with another RV Mfg, so he saw a need for quality service, so, yes, service appointments can be a ways out. OK, back on topic.... We bought our unit from Motorsports land in Salt Lake City. Long story short, since we pretty much did the deal via the phone we didn't have to much interaction with the sales department. The sales, paperwork procedure, parts and service departments did everything they said they would, and in the time frame promised. All in all a good experience.

Good Beckleys Thurmont Maryland Got our 2018 301bhle there. Worked with Shawn in sales. Very fun upfront guy. Didn’t pressure us on anything. Took delivery a week later he even did the walk through with us instead of a tech. I think that’s great forces your sales team to know the units inside and out.Wr had our own hitch to set up for the trailer the offered to do it for $100. I declined he was fine with that didn’t pressure me to have them do it said it was cool to take my time and do it right there in the lot. After the demo they take you through their store felt like when done at a museum forced to go through the gift shop at the end. But they offered a 10% discount and $25 gift certificate for anything bought that day. Not wanting to pass up free money chose wisely and only paid $4 outta pocket. Wasn’t any pressure there either I need to add. The guy helping us explained what everything was and cut us loose. Took home few days later Shawn called to followed up at which point we had found an issue with the furnace. He transferred us to service. We dropped it off on a sat. They called Monday said was fixed. Scheduled a pick up date. Happened to be some weather coming in that day. I called the day before said might need to change pick up due to weather won’t be till next week. They replied @no problem we understand just call in morning to let us know what you decide” Picked up next day everything great. Very happy with all aspects. Already pushing a friend to shop there.

I used Beckleys for service once. Since my dealer was incompetent, I made arrangements thru KZ to do a warranty job at Beckleys. My fresh water tank was spilling most of the water onto the highway so KZ sent a new tank to Beckleys for them to install. Made an appointment that was 3 months out. I arrived at the appointed time and they said to drop off the trailer and they would work on it some time in the future. I told them I had an appointment for it to be worked on today and they must have said a dozen times that I didn't buy the trailer there and their customers take priority. Then they claimed that KZ never sent a tank, so I called KZ right in front of them and proved that it was delivered after which they miraculously found it. If they didn't want the job, they shouldn't have taken it.
Well they swapped out the tank with one that was identical, saying they rerouted the water lines. The water lines were not rerouted, that was a lie. I wish I would have taken a photo of the way that the underbelly was totally messed up, there is no way it could have been driven home. I told them it was not acceptable and they kept the trailer to fix it right. When I picked up the trailer I asked that the water tank be filled and sure enough the water poured out as before. All it took was doing a circle in the church parking lot behind the dealership. Four 160 mile round trips, and all I got was a messed up trailer.
I contacted KZ and they sent out a technician to swap out the tank with a different design. There was no need to pull down the rear belly panel as Beckleys did. At a KZ Rally, the rear belly panel was pulled down for a gray tank valve to be replaced. You should have seen how bad the insulation was messed up by the idiots at Beckleys. I would not take a wheelbarrow there.

I bought my Sportster form Ketelson Campers in Wheat Ridge, CO. Sales Team: GOOD My salesman worked with me. Initially, he thought I didn't know what I was talking about, but once he did, the BS stopped and we got down to brass tacks. He was very through on the breakdown of the pricing and such and I have no complaints. FINANCE: Lukewarm Again, they tried playing with the numbers (i.e. trying to get me to buy the maintenance package at the higher interest rate/longer payment option) and pushing me to sign for delivery prior to my inspection. Once I pushed back hard enough they stopped. Service: POOR First, it's been two months and I have yet to see the new cabinet door that was damaged and noted during my inspection (I understand these things can take a few months to come in, but I have received ZERO feedback from them). A simple call or email with a "just wanted to let you know that part is still X weeks out" or "should be here in the next week or 2" Second, they tried to push me through my walkthrough and inspection and the guy doing started getting really annoyed when I took longer than an hour. Lastly, I bought my BW hitch from these guys and they forgot to order it to have it ready for install when I arrived (scheduled 2 weeks before my scheduled appointment). So I got stuck at the dealer for 3 hours AFTER my walk through. From the reviews I see online, it looks like this is Ketelson's Achilles heel. Next Friday marks 9 weeks since I bought the trailer, so I am planning on following up with them to see when my door will be in, but I'm not expecting much. It seems like the only way to get anything done in this dept is to be the squeaky wheel. Parts: GOOD. I didn't purchase much, and their selection is limited, but the parts people were nice. So they have that going for them. *UPDATE* Since this dealer is over an hour from my house, I'm rarely in the area to stop by. Turns out, my deer was ready at the butcher and these folks were on the way, so I stopped into the service dept to find out where my cabinet door is. The lady behind the counter said it was on order and she would have the person handling it call me (she was out to lunch). 10 minutes later, I get a call and the lady handling it tells me that KZ approved not only the cabinet door but the entire assembly as well! However, she stated that she needed me to take measurements of the dimensions of the cabinet door as well as the opening because her parts dept needed it and they didn't have a unit identical to mine on the lot so they couldn't measure it. My question is, shouldn't they just be able to use my VIN and that should tell KZ everything they need to know about what I would need? It just seems fishy to me, but I am hoping that it works out. Still sucks that I went 2 months without hearing anything and it took a trip in there to get any type of answer.

doublewa When Kz has a run they order a number of cabinets for a run of trailers they are doing, this may include a couple of different styles of trailers not only your type of unit, thus the request ... Example would be between jetzen's 384 an mine, his was made 4 months after mine, cabinets look the same but the doors open different, looking on line at a painted 384RLT the cabinet doors were different again from both of are 384's even thought overall cabinets look the same. So should they have the cabinets the same. I would thinks so but Kz tweaks things all the time to make things fit as many other MFG do as well ... Safe Travels Chuck

What Chuck said is exactly right. It's not just KZ, unfortunately RV's are not like cars, they tend towards the custom world, even production ones. Shame on your dealer for not sending the dimensions when they placed the order, that is I something I quickly learned to do--after getting incorrect parts.

In our old Class C I had a side sliding window brake, call the MFG of the Class C an ask about a window replacement, since it was out of warranty they said no problem an charged me $350.00... I gave them my vin number an the size of the window, 1st window I got a week later was incorrect, called an told MFG it was wrong window, they said no problem will send another, again I gave them my vin number an window size. A week later the 2nd window arrived, again same window as before, wrong window again, again I called an said wrong window. CS at the MFG checked the order number against my vin an found out they had sent them the wrong size an was off by one number. Long story shorter I got my money back, went downtown to a glass place an got a new side sliding window for half the price an it was correct. I ask MFG what they want me to do with two incorrect windows I had, they said keep them a do with them what you want My point here is that one number off an you will get the wrong parts, thus I believe this is why they again along with what I said above in my other post is why they ask the questions, be thankful they did just think you not only get the cabinet door but the entire assembly as well Yahoooooooooooo !!!! America's Choice RV Ocala Florida. Purchased a new Sportsmen LE 241RLLE. Sales staff nice enough. Service is horrible. Wouldn't make an appointment, "Just bring it by". Had the TT for one full week and never looked at it. It took another week to evaluate the warranty issues. It then took 2 weeks for KZ to authorize repairs. It took 2 weeks to get parts and a couple of days to complete repairs. One of the repairs (Gasket Repair)was never done even though they checked it off. They never once called me, I had to keep calling them for updates. Somewhat disappointed with KZ quality control. DVD/sound system was not physically connected to the AV cables. The LP/Electric water heater was not connected correctly so that only the propane worked. Still waiting for service to contact me about the gasket repair that they didn't fix. it doesn't take kz warranty 2 weeks to authorities repairs, I can see 2 weeks if it is a part that isn't in stock and they have to order it from the vendor. That can take another week or so depending on how far the vendor is out.. Are you sure dont you have a lp/electric water heater? A lot of the sportsman LE water heaters are gas only. Kz quality control has nothing to do with these issues, this would go right to the vendor surburban for the water heater. The dealership wouldn't even cont kz on this they would contact them.

I have now used America's Choice for warranty work 3 times. They have always blamed KZ for not authorizing the work but I got smart and called KZ. Come to find out the dealer is having trouble submitting their warranty claims. The bottom line is that the dealer has had the TT for 3 months of the 9 months that I have owned it. Problems that I have had: New Water Pump, New Propane Furnace, an interior wall and dinette have separated from the slide, Electric/Propane water heater not connected properly. This is my 2nd KZ, and always had good luck. I am trying to be optimistic that everything will be OK. The newest thing is that the new propane furnace does not shut off.

I bought a SportTrek from Noble RV in Jordan Mn. The buying experience was good the service department has been great. I had a problem with the front cap which was fixed under warranty. I would recommend this dealer if asked.

I wait a week and call again. Again, no answer, so I leave a message. No response. 2 more weeks go by. I call again. AGAIN, no answer so I leave a message. Guess what? NO RESPONSE! At what point would you folks suggest I circumvent the dealer and go directly to KZ? It has been almost 6 months since I purchased my rig and I still have zero answer.

I would go to KZ, as well as send a certified letter to the dealership owner / general manager informing them that their service department is failing to meet customer's needs. Lots of times management isn't aware the service department isn't doing their job, if they are aware, then KZ needs to know so so they can find a dealer who wants to represent their product properly. Having been in the business, it pains me to hear stories like this.

When my RV was new and I had trouble with the service department, I called the salesman and complained. My case may be somewhat unique because he was one of the owners of the dealership. Let me tell you, he wasn't happy to hear what I had to say and the service department hasn't ignored me since.
