As I have stated along with others you can have a great trailer but if you do not get the support for that
product from the dealer no matter what the manufacturer has done owners will tell you it's a POS an do not
buy such ....
Believe me if you have the chance to attend a Kz rally or even go to the plant an Kz office's you will
become a believer, they are great people an believe in their product an stand behind such ...
The problem is as stated that the dealers are the once's that the owners see an if there is no support
from them I don't care how good a product Kz makes it's the dealer can screw up their reputation
as a manufacturer ...
I am not happy with my dealers service deportment, I am happy with the sales people for the most part,
they were up front an didn't try to hide anything an were very knowledgeable about the product ... Even
the Tech who walked up thought the trailer we bought knew everything about the trailer when doing our
PDI ... But when taking the trailer back for service an annual inspection the service department missed
an didn't repair what was ask of them an only tried to add stuff that wasn't needed to get extra money
for the dealer ...
I know that one of the problems is that Kz dealers are far an few in some area's an it's a competition
between manufacturers to get dealer to sell there products so they can stay in business ... But I believe
if the manufacturers would be more picky, or more lets say forceful in making dealers do quality
work an take in any owners repair no matter who they bought from they may be ahead of the game ...
Problem is that these dealers are independent an no matter how forceful Kz might get, they can also tell
Kz to take a hike because some other manufacturer is waiting to take over were there is a void, there
lye's the problem Ugh ... Our dealer sells both Thor an Forest River products, so they have more or less
both worlds so to speak, so they are not brand loyal, thus they do not care what brand you buy as long
as you buy from them ... Our car dealer at one time sold Toyota an Fords out of the same location, Ford
told them that they couldn't do such an if they wanted to keep selling Fords they had to move that
product to another location which they did 10 miles away... Maybe If these manufacturers did the same
you would get better an quicker service since there wouldn't be six or seven different brands competing
at the same location ...
Safe Travels
