I disagree about no ladder meaning no walk-on. My first two TT were walk-on roofs, but there were no ladders. You need to check with the manufacture/dealer about the roof to be sure. "As far as the ladder goes, no ladder usually means no walk on."
usually adverb
1. Most of the time; less than always, but more than occasionally. 2. Under normal conditions.
That means it's not written in stone

KZ had a problem about then with bad pig tails. Mine were hard and cracked soon after I got my 2017 5W. I had the local propane dealer make new ones and they are still good 5-6 years later.

I set mine to 110 ft. lbs. with an extension to reach the lugs. You could carry a breaker bar with the right sized sockets for both your truck and the camper tires. You can get the cheap one from Harbor Freight which should take care of you in a pinch on the road. www.harborfreight.com/12-in-drive-25-in-breaker-bar-62729.htmlBetter yet go to Amazon and buy a torque stick of the proper torque and leave it with a 1/2 drive ratchet or that breaker bar.

So is your ceiling unit like this? or ducted like this: The "filters" in these are just some thin foam that you can buy, cut to size and reinstall. I pull mine on the days I'm just hanging out and rinse them in soap & water, let dry and reinstall.

You might want to try lubing the tracks where it slide to open & close. Do not use WD you want to use this stuff, mine chattered and squeeked until I lubed them.

FWIW I have a 2017 Durango Gold and the satellite connection has not worked from day one and was not fixed at the rally in Shipshewana, IN. I run a cable adapter trough a window. I got them on line and bought 10 for under $10 as they are some what fragile when the wire inside bends too many times. I have used the Klein tester and the cable is bad somewhere in the middle and I can't find away to pull a new one with out drilling holes out side, the adaptors works fine and no water leaks.

B&W you will never be sorry. I have had Reese & Husky and will never go back, the B&W is solid, no checking, and smooth hooking and unhooking. I have had it bind once since 2016 and to release you just "pin" it in the open position and drive out, pined open it can not stay locked. (it's in the manual) You will hear it's heavy, yes but it's easily separated to two pieces, but both together are about 100lbs so easy lift for two, wife and I before I put a lift in my shop. Now I wrap a chain and push a button lift out of the pucks and drive out. The lift was not for the hitch specifically but other heavy stuff gets moved around in a shop, head ache rack, fuel tank etc.

I would sure as heck check the payload numbers on your truck before jumping into this. With a 9k lb GVW, you're looking at, potentially, 1800-2000 lbs of pin weight at GVW. Check the payload sticker on the driver's door or B pillar and remember that whatever that # is, you need to subtract weight of passengers and "stuff" in the cab and the bed and the hitch weight from that number to see if you can safely carry that load. Not hard to hit the limits on the rear axle and/or tires. The truth is that there are almost NO half-ton trucks that can carry a "half-ton" FW after it's loaded for camping. 55 gallons of water alone weighs in at 460 lbs if you have to carry that to your campground. Most half-ton trucks do =much= better with a bumper pull and a WD hitch. My brother-in-law has a 29' "Minnie Winnie" that he tows with a 2 WD 1500 Chevy crew cab. Lyle I pulled a 5K 5W with a GMC 1500 extended cab long bed 5.3 V8 once with, not enough truck. I bought an F250 and didn't know it was there, as my 5W's got bigger so did my truck, I'm in an F350 pulling 13K+.

"Hold ma beer 'n watch this!" :-) I think sawzall should be added to the old WD-40 and duct tape adage. "If it moves and it's not supposed to; duct tape. If it doesn't move and it's supposed to; WD-40. If it's too big; sawzall." :-) From what I've read, the DIY install of a new cooling unit seems to be doable by anyone that's pretty handy with tools, and such. Son-in-law's definitely that. FWIW, we're going to try burping the frigde and see if that helps.
Lyle OK I'll bite, how do you burp it, put it over your shoulder and pat it on the back?

Were it me, I'd take a ton of pics, outside and in, then either have a mobile RV tech come out and take notes or, if possible, take the rig to a KZ dealer and have =them= document everything. The fact that you know about it now, and likely face rain in the mean time, just means the damage will get worse and KZ might not cover any warranty. You also might take a detour through Indiana and have the =factory= look at the issue.
Lyle That will be the best advise you can get, have them look at it and if there is an issue they can fix it. Call ahead as I believe they require appointments.

F'n stupid. The RVIA should set up a standard to get the seal, that all RVs should have some way to be able to remove any and all appliances and furniture without having to disassemble major components. Just make the f'n door a few inches wider, at least! Lyle Se a post with a guy same issue, solved with a saws all, it went out in pieces. I wanted to try thee Amish with the reports I have read but closest installed I found was MT.
