Bottom of the page lower left under the title "Newest Post". OK, that just shows what icon indicates there are new post. Most forums will have a button to make all new post appear at the top of the listings. Probably not on here and I will adjust fine. Just easier the other way to view the newest post. If you look on the main page in the lower left corner you will see "Last Updated" in black print followed by several topics in olive green print. the olive green is what is active, just tape on a topic like the most currently updated post, or "Recent threads" or "Recent posts" etc..

Is there a way on the KZ forum to see the newest post posted? I cannot see a way, but I can do that on all other forums I am a member in. Thanks Bottom of the page lower left under the title "Newest Post".

OK, I have to call the dealer out on this. They are saying everything is either bent or broken. To me a shotgun approach. What exactly is wrong with the springs? Is the axle bent or what? A few reasons for axle issue, it was manufactured with materials that are to light, it was overloaded or ran into something bending it. My thoughts exactly...the whole story is not being told

Jetzen, let me start off by saying if you’ve had good experiences with KZ then that’s great and good for you. That being said I will reply with A. My dealer/service dept. has gone above and beyond to try and help me out with this situation. B. There’s nothing else for me to disclose on the cause other than I towed it and it broke. KZ should honor the”bumper to hitch” warranty period. Like I stated I have been dealing with KZ far too long and know better. Judging by your reply, I'll go with B.

I have not experienced anything that the original poster has described as far as KZ not honoring their warranties. KZ has been more than generous with me when it comes to warranty repairs, far after the warranty was over. My experience with KZ is that they will bend over backwards (within reason) to keep you happy. I have however noticed a pattern that is all to frequent, either A) you have a poor dealer service department that is not going to bat for you and taking the easy way out, or B) the readers of this post are not being told the whole story as to the actual cause of the failures and warranty denial.
I have been dealing with KZ far too long and know that they will always try to rectify a reasonable request.

Check on the trailer street side, in between the wheels by the spring equalizer.

The problem is with terminology. There are 2 different systems Quick Cool and Quiet Flow/Whisper quiets. All current Durango Golds from about 2016 and newer use Quiet Flow A/C units. It is a ducted system that does not have access to the plenum so the RV air flow can not be used. The Quick Cool system can also be ducted but has a plenum that is accessible from the interior of the coach. The plenum has a dump valve that allows for quick cooling of the interior. The RV Airflow will only work on the Quick Cool system but you give up the ability to cool the interior quickly. It essentially turns the Quick cool into a Quiet Flow and distributes air more efficiently minus the noise reduction of the Quiet Flow system.

Hydraulic jacks raise and lower (not necessarily level) in sequence... so do the hydraulic slides. The short version: That is the way they are mechanically/electronically programed. Hydraulic fluid will fill the line and ram of the shortest run first until pressure is sensed, then the next shortest run on the jacks should be short run first, long run last. On the slides short ram first then the long ram. There is more to it than just that but that is its normal operation.

Said it had been working until the electricity went off at the CG But Jetzen pretty much summed it up if there is an inverter. Just explaining how mine works. I do not need the inverter to be turned on if I am on shore power, but once I loose shore power the refrigerator will stop working if the inverter is not turned on. There is a transfer switch built into the inverter that allows the inverter to power a bank of A/C outlets on the street side of the trailer once shore power has been disconnected for what ever reason.

First thing to check is the Inverter turned ON???....
If it is... Once battery voltage drops below about 11 volts the inverter will throw an error code of insufficient voltage. When battery voltage drops into the ten volt range the circuit breaker will trip. You have a Durango/Durango 2500 Don't know where that circuit breaker is located on that series. If it were a Durango Gold it would be behind the curb side front landing gear jack. It would look like a black 2 inch square box. When tripped it will have a red flag indicator sticking out of it, which is what needs to be pushed down to reset.
Hope this helps. On a side note if you are running just one battery you will only have a few hours of power to run the refrigerator. Most other accessories in the trailer are 12V and draw directly from the battery also. Multiple battery bank is needed to run refrigerator for any length of time on the inverter. I run 2 group 27 deep cycles and if I run the refrigerator ONLY I can get about 30 hours, throw in the fantastic fan and a light or two and now you can cut that time to about 8. the lights and fan will operate on 10 volts...the inverter will not.

The slide that is in question, the one that houses the dining table and the theater seat is a flush floor slide. While extending the slide, when it reaches it's max stroke the top stops while the floor "drops" into it's "flush" position. When retracting that slide, the top/roof will stay stationary while the bottom/floor will raise causing the slide to "tilt" slightly... then the whole slide will retract. While I would need to actually see what symptom you are having, what you are describing sounds normal for a flush floor slide. Your bedroom slide and the kitchen/entertainment slide are raised floor slides. they go straight in and out. hope this helps. That makes sense, thank you. I still think the top is sticking a bit because when retracting, it sounds like a strip of velcro when the top finally releases. I still wonder if there's something I can do along the lines of lubrication to help that issue. I'm ok with the top doing what it does when retracting as you stated was the purpose as long as it won't cause any undue stress on the hydraulic system. I've already had a hydraulic cylinder replaced on that slide recently. The wiper seals on the slides are double an inner and an outer. The noise you are hearing is the seals trying to change directions. If you have ever noticed on High end trailers like DRV they put bumps on the slides to help the seals change directions. When the slide is extended the wiper seals are pointed to the outside. If the slide is extended for any length of time they form a memory and want to stay in the out position and what you are hearing is the seal scaping on the textured surface of the slide roof membrane, or they make a squeak on the sides. The only harm this will do is if the top wiper seal stays pointed out and it will then grab the transition tape that is on the outer slide flange. I always wipe the hydraulic ram piston rods with a DRY silicon lubricant, both slides and landing gear. DO NOT use WET lubricants on any type of rubber seal as they attract dirt and debris and can swell the rubber seal causing deterioration and leaks. Trust me when I tell you that if there was a physical obstruction the hydraulic system on the slides would have already ripped the problem area right off the trailer. The hydraulics are fast to deploy but are destructive if anything is in the way. If you have checked all around the slide and see nothing obvious that would be a problem, my conclusion would be that it is just the normal noises.

I searched the forum and really didn't see anything specific on this topic. When retracting this slide, the top sticks for a few seconds while the bottom of the slide starts to come in. After a few seconds the top part of the slide finally gives and the slide comes in as normal. I tried lubricating the top portion of the slide from the inside of the camper when it's fully retracted to include the seals around the slide. This didn't do any good. The appliance slide doesn't have this problem, it comes in fairly smoothly. I'm pretty faithful about lubing the rack and pinion system underneath so I really don't think that has any bearing. I know the model year I have seems to have a defect on the top portion of the slide, i.e., water pools in a couple of spots on the slide and it's not completely level on the top. Not sure that has anything to do with it or not. Any suggestions on preventing the slide from sticking? I fear after a while it will damage something mechanically.
