Thanks again for the reply. Those sound like good ideas and I will get busy checking them and see what happens.

That is exactly how it works. I usually start up the refrig at least a day early, so it is good and cold at the start of the trip. Depending on how long between temp checks, everything starts defrosting. I would love to find a fix for this. Could you give a short explanation of the metal shields? Thanks for the info. Joe

Wish I could help. The guy we bought ours from said to turn the fridge off while towing so we've never tried it to see what happens. I also turn the propane off at the tank in case there's an accident. We keep the fridge cool by putting a few frozen 2 liter water bottles inside. Good luck! How do you keep the fridge cold? or is yours battery powered?

I appreciate the reply. It is a Norcold LP/AC unit with manual spark to lite the unit. Therefor it has a pilot which I believe should stay lit. Had the local Moble RV repairman look at it and he said the flame looks good. I can tell the flame is out, by the flame strength meter, it goes completely to 0. all I have to do is hit the sparker a couple times and lights right up. When the trailer is not moving, the flame stays lit for days (when there is not any AC available). Also everything is original, unit has 2 vents through the outside wall, 1 at bottom and 1 at top of refer, and no roof vent.

I have a 2016 Spree Escape 17' Toyhauler. My problem is that it came with a gas/electric refrig. So during traveling, I use gas and every time I stop for fuel, the flame has gone out on the refrig. Has anyone else had this problem, and were you able to stop it, and how? Joe J.

Toilet goes to black water tank, everything else normally goes to grey water tank.

I still believe they should move the light strip to the body of the camper, underneath the awning. That way you can use your patio lights whether your awning is out or not.
I fully agree with you on the lights attached to the camper. Sometimes you don't want to (or cannot) open the awning all the way.

Have you unrolled the awning yet? My 2016 Spree Escape has LED lights in the awning roller, with a light up red switch to turn them on.

I am highly interested, will there be a group rate? and what name does the campground know that this is for the KZ rally. Am I missing some important info?

As stated in another thread, I had the same problem with my toyhauler. I was able to use an ohm meter to figure out which cable from the outside went to which terminal on the plate above (behind) the tv. I found that the antenna and satelite cable were both hooked to the antenna amplifier board and none to the satelite in terminal. When I moved the satelite cable to the satelite terminal, everthing worked fine. Hope this helps.

There should be a thermostat on the wall if there is a built in heater. May be that you need to contact your dealer to see why the a/c is not heating

If it is the same as my 2015 Spree Escape Toy Hauler, the A/c is just cooling (or fan) and the TT should have a separate heater. Hope this helps.

The unit is in storage right now, so I cannot get a picture. But if you pull the 2 connection plate off the ceiling, you will see 1 connection goes to a little circuit board (amplified antenna connection) and the other connection should just have a cable from the outside cable connection. Mine had both cables going to the amplifier board and nothing going to the cable connector. Hope this helps.

Well, took my new 2016 Spree Escape Toyhauler on its maiden voyage to a local State Park. All went good except when I went to hook up my portable satellite dish. There was not any connection from the outside satellite/cable connection to the inside connection. I took the chance of pulling the interior connection down from the ceiling, and wala nothing hooked to the satellite/cable connection. Luckily, the cable had been made to the wrong connection, so all I had to do was move the cable. All good after that, and I am very pleased with the new RV.

I am going to use an expandable bar from Harbor Freight for extra safety. The last thing I would want is for one of the beds to fall on my Harley
