On a side note...you still hanging out with the CC group? Yes, we are. We did a couple of their rally's this past summer. I hosted one too. We tend not to camp with them much during the school year, as PA is a long drive on a Friday evening.

I'll just get KZ to fix it when it goes back to the dealer for this years list of warrantee work!

For the last year and a half my MXT20 has intermittently tripped the breaker for the converter. This past weekend I finally figured out why (the dealer couldn't duplicate), I set up the trailer but only put the water heater on electric. After several hours no hot water! My wife said check the circuit breakers, low and behold one was tripped. When I reset the breaker my lights brightened, it was the converter breaker that was tripped. When I turned the water heater off my voltage increased. Apparently KZ wired both the converter and the water heater to the same breaker and when both were on at the same time it exceeded the breaker. Problem diagnosed, now to get KZ to fix it!

My only question is "If your dealer set up your Equalizer, have you rechecked the install and adjustments"? I ask this because both of the trailers I have bought have had an Equalizer installed by the dealer (two different) and both needed to be reset by the instructions for proper use. Most dealers seem to do just the initial set up and then let them go. You can get the set up instructions on line and make the necessary changes.

I have 2 spots on my MXT. One under the front storage hatch on the street side and the whole back wall. My trailer will run out of warranty in May so the dealer will get it back this winter!

Posting in attempt to save other families the loss & heartache we've experienced...We know all brands have issues but feel we must warn you to not buy a KZ. Nothing but numerous issues and leaks from the first trip with our KZ Vision TT we ordered. We've spent the past year taking it in for service after every trip, attempted repairs have failed. Dealer said 3rd KZ like ours with same issue is manufacturer defect. Now a full inspection reveals even more issues than we knew of. Beyond disappointed to pay new and have every family trip ruined. Learning the hard way KZ's 2 year warranty means nothing but that they will attempt repairs (not fix) repeatedly until the warranty runs out. This experience has us questioning if we even want to get another trailer and continue camping, something we loved before all of this. Buyer beware. I know you'll get flamed from the die hard group here but I sympathize with you. We purchased our MXT20 a year and a half ago. Issues started the first time we camped in it. The Murphy bed pulled from the wall and a ceiling panel fell down. I repaired these and other minor problems myself due to my selling dealer being 6 hours away. During the first year I found the roof sheathing wasn't properly fastened, stretching the vinyl roof, a water leak that damaged a wall panel' a noisy, soft floor and other various issues. The response from KZ customer service was "that's normal and live with it"! The selling dealer did attempt repairs, fixing some but others are the same or worse. The trailer will be back at the dealer this winter to see what else they can fix. Most of our issues were due to poor build quality with some from cutting corners or a cheaper build. If I had known what I know now I would have stayed away from KZ.

My experience is if you contact KZ directly they don't want to cover build issues but if you go through the dealer you bought from you may get it covered.

When I was shopping for our MXT20 last year I was told by my "local" dealer it would take a minimum of 10 weeks to get one from the factory.

Our 2 month old Venture 23' Sonic also has a battery that goes down when parked. We even had the battery replaced under warranty by the Battery manufacturer. Still goes down. Any more advice before I start? Thanks, Corky Parked how long? It's normal for the battery to drain down over several weeks, if it's only lasting days than something is drawing power. Make sure all lights and appliances are off including the antenna booster. Check any lights in storage compartments. If it still drains fast have the dealer check for parasitic draw.

With my pressure fill only system I just put the bleach directly into my water hose before hooking it to the trailer. Before tuning the water supply on I open my tank fill valve so the bleach and water goes directly into the fresh tank. When the fresh tank is full I shut the fill valve, disconnect the hose and run the pump to flow the bleach and water mix through the system. When finished my fresh tank, system and hose are sanitized.

I've flipped the breaker in a number of different ways, but nothing. Does the 12v go through the breakers or just the fuses? Other than the one by the battery of course, although I'm not sure what that is for exactly. So I can touch the positive end of the multimeter to both sides of the breaker by the battery and the neg end on both the battery and grounded metal on the chasis and it has current. So does that mean the problem is past the ground? I'm so confused. Your breakers in the inside panel are for the 110v side and the fuses for the 12v. The only breaker that will affect your battery is the one for the converter, If it trips the battery will not charge when the trailer is plugged in to shore power. As for testing your 12v system, start at the battery. Put your red lead on the positive battery post and black on the negative battery post. Your multi-meter should read 12 volts, give or take, depending on your battery's state of charge. Move your black lead to the trailers frame to verify the Ground (You may need to scratch a bit to connect to bare metal). If you still have the same voltage the ground is ok. Now move your red lead to the battery side of circuit breaker by the battery and you should read the battery voltage. Now test the trailer side. If there is battery voltage on the battery side and no voltage on the trailer side the breaker is bad. If you have battery voltage on both sides of the breaker you need to check for voltage inside by removing the electrical panel cover. If you need more help chime back in and I'll try to work you through it.

Hi, does that shower head have a shut-off valve? We boondock some places where water is a premium. We have a shut-off on ours.

I have considered the Oxygenics shower head, but I wonder if a better wall mount is available. It looks like a lot of weight hanging far from the mount. Yes, it is heavier than the cheep original shower head but it's not that much heavier. We've towed over 5000 miles with the Oxygenetics head and have had no issuers with it falling or even moving during transport.
