I'll get you photos later, for now I will give you some general information.
It you have not topper, a much simpler system can be made. Since I built this system, my bikes are in the truck about 99% of the time staying clean and dry and always available.
The base is 3/4" plywood painted on all sides. The base has carpet where it contacts the truck bed. A ratchet strap pulls the base to the left front till the carpet touches the the bed, holding it firmly in place. Threaded tee nut inserts are used to fasten everything to the plywood.
The folding uprights for the removed wheels are conduit, they are spring loaded to lock them in place.
I needed to lower the bike in front to clear the topper, thus the lawnmower wheel, it also makes the bike shorter. Spacers were added to the wheels and quick release mechanisms stay with the wheels.
The guides for the tires are 2 x 4 lumber cut to suit.
The brackets for the front wheel are made from 3 pieces of solid steel, machined to suit. The depth of the axle slot allows the mower tire to have just a bit of clearance. A hole above the axle is for the locking pin attached to a lanyard. There are commercially available brackets available that don't have provisions for wheels.
I use a ratchet strap over the bike frame near the seat to hold the bikes down, plus a bungees as a backup since they keep a constant tension.

Using the model number, search for the manual and hopefully it will have the troubleshooting information.

It is likely that you have no switch and you need to add one. With a voltmeter, start at the battery and check for voltage, then proceed down the line checking between a connection and ground till you find where the voltage is lost. Often a circuit breaker on the trailer tongue is the problem, check both terminals. It is possible that your battery was drained by small loads while the trailer wasn't being used. Never let a battery to be run down more than 50% and it is best to keep it fully charged as much as possible. A voltage at the battery of 12.05 volts means that the battery is at 50% charge.

I built a rack to hold both bikes in the smallest amount of space possible. I have more photos if you intend to build one.

If you look carefully at those "I-beams" you will see that they have little strength as well. I carry my bikes in the truck.

I was told the axles, springs and frame we built stronger. It also comes with Wrangler LT tires. Now I think it was just put the tires on and call it a "off road" package 3" axle tubes instead of 2-3/8"? 6 lug nuts instead of 5?

This unit has the "off road" package and is to be build for going off pavement, it cant even stay together when its only on pavement. Exactly what components do you think is heavy duty that makes the trailer stronger? I doubt that there is much to make it off road capable.

I wonder if they have a dedicated repair facility? Yes they do, it is/was a much more skilled area than the production lines.

I did away with the two outlets, here's a link to the mod. linkThat's nice for doing away with the 2 outlets. I still wonder if black tank flushing is available for both toilet tanks. Do you have a monitor that shows two blank tanks? Check to see if there is a valve or valves to select the tank you want. Failing that, open the drain valves, connect garden hose to the flush inlet, turn on the water and see if water comes out of one. If you have only one expelling water, then cap it and run the water for a minute or two and see if the uncapped one expels water. Do not run water for more time to avoid pressurizing the tank. Also, you could have someone hold the toilet open and listen for flowing water. You may be able to pull down a cover to expose the tanks and know for sure what is going on.

I added a gravity fill (not easy) and altered the city water port to draw in water using the onboard pump. The water going in the city water port can be used directly from a container or sent to the fresh water tank.

I have learned that the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and warranties are just fiction. Your warranty basically covers the box and all the components are covered by the maker of those. If you could elaborate on the defects, perhaps we could offer some advice. I believe that any owner of an RV better learn to do the work if they want to have use of the unit and to preserve their sanity.

As said, take the generators out of ECO mode and try that. If you are at a high elevation, know that the generators lose power as you go higher. If you still have the issue, I would try a hard start capacitor next because they are inexpensive. The soft start devices are expensive so try that last.

There are two different sizes RV king mattresses. I would wait till you can actually measure and then buy a standard topper from the retail store of your choice and cut it to fit. This way, you will have a wide variety of products to get exactly what you want.

We have a 2017 KZ 280THR. The orange side decals deteriorated last year and we removed the side ones. Unfortunately where the decal were is quite noticeable. Now the front ones are in bad shape, and will require removal. Not sure what to do for replacement, but its disappointing. Dealer is of no help. The remaining side decal are in reasonable condition, but for how long is a guess. Search for a company that does vinyl signs or vehicle trim, they can make most anything and it will be of good quality. Skip the RV industry if at all possible.

My wife and I use between 10 and 15 gallons per day if we conserve a bit.

Ok, here is a T pin, this is what you are looking for. It will be sticking out of the frame View AttachmentThis is the end of a T pin driver- this fits over the T pin to turn it. This is usually at the end of a crank you can turn View AttachmentOk I have looked underneath both of the slides in question and I didn't find anything like that anywhere 😵 The shaft you are looking for may have the T pin or a 3/4" nut like thing. It will be on the side OPPOSITE the slide in question. There are slide mechanisms that have a different design and do not use the shaft thru the trailer. That is why I asked for information in your paperwork, and hopefully find the brand, model or instructions. I mentioned watching videos so that you can see different designs and hopefully find one that matches yours.

We don't know if you ran jumper cables from the truck to your battery terminals. We don't know if you reviewed the link that I supplied. We don't know what type or brand of slide you are dealing with, there are at least three types. We don't know if the manual crank is hidden under the underbelly cover. You need to look thru the papers that were supplied with your trailer. You need to search thru YouTube videos for help. You could supply photos of both sides and and under the slide so we can see what you might be dealing with.
