That is great! Another "KZ comes through" story. Main reason I bought a new KZ Durango.
Have a great time with your new "toy".

Seek and ye shall receive. When we ordered our Durango, we had the dealer include a receiver hitch, installed by the local muffler shop. It has a tow rating of 5K, but we never intended to actually tow anything. We wanted to attach my wife's mobility scooter's lift and the scooter itself. Turns out the lift is not up to the rigors of up and down action from the 5th wheel when traveling. But I imagine it would work great for bikes. Man, I so dislike photobucket! Here's picture:

Testing the attachment process..... OK, I attached my camper's pic. When you go to add a reply, there is an attachment line, use that. Note that the picture can't be very big, however. Attachments:

There are many ways to help out the AC, but you are right about the amount of cool down. Most forums that discuss single AC use say that about 20 degrees is the norm. A lot of people put those tinted things on their windows and say that it helps. Also, keep the shades drawn, especially on the sunny side. Most agree that shade is the biggest help.
Hope that helped give you some ideas.

Just a note: I ordered and received the thermostat you ordered, and it works great. Only one degree either way and it shuts off whatever was on. And the temperature it displays appears to be right on. Been really hot here in Western Colorado, so had a good test for AC. Then I tested how it worked for heat. Boy, was that a bad idea! But, now I know how good that thermostat works.
Good luck on the JT Strongarms, my Durango came with them and they definitely slow down the "jiggle".

Thanks! I googled the model number and found them several places, one at $61 plus shipping. I also found one that had many reviews and apparently the digital one we're talking about is super accurate and only one degree of variance. Almost plug and play it seems for installation.
Thanks for this "heads up"!

Hopefully, I have this photo posting thing figured out. Here is what our thermostat looks like.

Is your original thermostat the same as this one, ours is different in our Durango 325RL? Either way, do you find it to be very accurate? Ours is off by at least 8 to 10 degrees and has about a 3 degree swing either way ... not the best of options.

We ordered our 325RL last fall and are totally in love with it.
YES, you have access to the refrigerator with the slides in. As a bonus, you can also access the bathroom. Those were two things that were on our "must have" list.

Not sure if your Sportsman is the same as my Durango, but on my rig the two blue hoses are the low point drains. If the valves were open, then all water will drain out. Look around for valves on those two hoses.
On my Durango, once the fresh water tank is full, there are two red vent hoses that will start to run. Only way I know that the tank is full. There is an additional red hose with a valve that is the drain for the fresh tank.
Don't think that actually answers your issue, but just food for thought.

Glad to see a KZ forum, however I noticed there is no Escalade section on this forum? Not that I have many issues with our Escalade, but do enjoy reading and or helping others with questions... KZ no longer makes the Escalade. But you would think that the forum would have a section for them. They are very popular 5ers.

Another confirmation of KZ support. That's the main reason that I went with KZ. Hope the rest of your vacation is awesome!
