I tow my 2015 speee escape with a 4.7 liter jeep grand cherokee., get 14 daily, but only 10.2 ave mpg while towing. I had a dodge ram years back and came to the concusion that chrysler products are work horses for towing but suck for mpg. I also got quadra drive 1 in my jeep, so it is also in fiull time 4 high , dosent help any ! I try keeping it under 65, (as the tires are speed rated for that anyhow) and rpm as liw as possible.

i got a coupon for a free weekend at Millbrook campging resort in Jefferson Ohio, located on route 46 between Pymatuning Lake, and Mosquito Lake , near Astrubula area. i think this is more of a camping timeshare type place, (not interested in that) but still may go this upcomming weekend to check the place out , especially since it is free. just wondering if anybody ever stayed here before?

You need to keep both your valves black (toilet) and gray (sink wastewater) closed. Add some chemicial in your black tank. And dump when leaving black first then gray if you have sewer hookup on site. You can dump before leaving your site. If not you need tio dump at campground dump station. If you leave both valves open. You will not have any pressure to move your waste. Plus could get bad sewer gas backflow into your trailer. Not good! I hope this helps

ok got the fastway E2 system set up as directions stated. but had a hard time connecting the spring arms to the L brakets used for sway control, and even a harder time disconnecting once i backed into the campsite. as directions read, i kept the couple locked on the ball, and it said to raise the trailer tounge jack up about a inch picking up both the trailer and tow vechile to make it easier to connect, for me this turned into about 30 cranks! where i could clear the handle and get leverage on the popup tool. then when i got to my site, i had to hammer the bars off. what did i do wrong? thinking i might have go even higher to the point that the tv wheels almost come off the ground. i think a electric tounge jack in the purchase plans soon if this is the case. plus it seemed like the ball didnt seat as deep as my old previous standard hitch, should i remove any of the washers in the hitch head, to adjust the ball in more of a verticial line, taking out the slight downward angle..... any thouhts? ??

held our first meet and greet DOG at Racoon Creek State park, in Western PA april 25th. woke up saturday to a blanket of the white stuff, but as the day progressed, the sun came out and temps reached a balmy 54 degrees. overall we had a great event, we had 4 acres of cherry, oak, and hemlock trees all to ourselfs for the day. had 20 people in addendance, start cooking at noon, and samples flowed troughout the crowd until our 4pm dinner time. where i counted 21 pots on the table. also meet a couple from Wooster Ohio, who will be hosting the National IDOS cookoff in Loundinville Ohio, june of 2016. i plan on attending this event, and will keep you informed as it would be great to get some here to attend as well.

Ball size is 2 inch, as far as height, that depends ion your hitch set up, off hand i am guessing somewhere around 17 inches , but will level mine and measure wdh depends on your tounge weight , i use s fastway e2 Wdh with 800tw/8000 round bars. By the way where are you from?

I want to hang a tv/dvd combo but alittle hesitate in drilling holes in the side of my trailer. Has anybody ever considered mounting a earth magnet to will stick through the wall to the backer plate? Figured yoi can easiily stick it to the wall when needed and pull it off while travel. Just wondering if anybody has experience with these strong magnets

got the ball set up on the hitchhead, was surprised how big the nut was on the ball shank, didnt have big enough tools to fit, went to a marine propeller shop, guy had big wrenches, took a 1-5/8 box wrench with a 3 ft pipe for leverage, then put a 16 inch adjustable cresent on the bottom of the ball to hold from spinning . got the two biggest guys in the shop to crank the nut down, while i held the cresent tight in the vise. dont know if it is actually torqued to specs, but it is pretty ******** tight! then added a heavy line of locktight on bottom treads for safe measure.

Ok went to install a new 2 in ball from equiler. Recommended for the e2 wdh. The directions said to torque to 430 ft/pds. Problem is the nut on tbe ball shank is huge. Tried putting on a 1 1/2 inch impact socket on it but still too small. And dont have anything bigger, neither did my local garage. Doen the street. Plus no room to turn with open end wrench even if i find the right siZe. Looking for suggestions

i too have the 196s and was wondering the same question, so i will be looking for the over ride myself, the dealer also never explained, nor had any ideal how it worked, said if it breaks bring it back in, hard to do when it,s stuck open for 200 miles.

Just wondering. If there is a way to manually operate the dinnette slide if you lose power or if something would break. No problems with it now but figured it would be good to know in advance would hate to be 200 miles awAy in the middle of nowhere scrathing my head someday. Is there a manual over ride that could be used. Or any special tools needed for the job?
