Please Help! I recently purchased a 2015 puma 25RLS. Picked up from dealers went to RV camp, everything worked great! It was 99 to 100 degrees outside had AC on all the time we were there. Came home plugged into 50AMP (trailer is 30amp) using dog bone converter from 50 to 30amp. I have dog bone plugged in first, followed by surge protector and extension cord 30' to trailer plug. I went to turn AC on.. it was hot outside 99 degrees AC ran for a 20mins or so and popped breaker inside RV. It was hot inside trailer! Nothing else was plugged in... at night I can plug it in and it runs all night without popping breaker. I noticed on a cloudy day... I turned AC on and it did not pop breaker. I have had fridge on and or off as I tried to test AC.. It has done both popped breaker on a hot day and remained on if cloudy day.. House breaker will not trip on inside RV. Can not get trailer serviced till after Labor Day!

You need to measure the voltage. It is a good idea to have a voltmeter plugged into an outlet at all times so that you don't try to run the AC when it reads below 105 volts. Many campgrounds have low voltage problems, so always check.
If the voltage checks OK when you run the AC, you need to repair or replace it.

Does the surge protector you're using have a low voltage cut-off? If so, what voltage is it set to?
Have you tried replacing the dog bone and surge protector?

Don't assume because they're new that they can't have problems. Good luck!
