We bought a used KZ Spree and dumped the black tank, hooked up the hose for the black tank flush. Turned the water on and could not hear any water going in, and no water coming out. Any ideas as to what we may have done wrong?

Hi Jen. There is a one-way check valve in the system (so that nothing can flow from the tank back to the hose). I've heard of these being installed backwards, preventing water from flowing into the tank.
1. Are you sure you're getting water to the hose? (hate to ask, but always start at the beginning) 2. Is the water inlet free from any obstructions? 3. From there, it's time to start troubleshooting. The image below indicates how a normal tank flusher is installed. My check valve is under the sink in the bathroom. You may need to hunt around for yours. 4. If you bought it from a dealer, they may help you.
Good luck!

sometimes it takes a few minutes before the water starts coming out the outlet.
Be sure your valves are open before you start the flush.
