Hello from Illinois! Went shopping for a kayak and came home with a 2012 StoneRidge 38fl. We have never owned an RV, travel trailer or anything like this, so... this will be several adventures in one. Her name is Fiji .... so I can now say, "I'm going to Fiji" for the weekend.

Welcome to Camping with an RV, either you will love it or hate it. Myself I was raised Camping with an RV and so was my wife so it came natural to us. 38 foot that's a big one what are you pulling it with? We had a 26 foot and just upgraded to a 32 foot this year, have not named it yet, probably a good idea because it will be part of that family for a long time.

WOW!!!--from never having a RV to getting a Stoneridge is a big step. It was probably a good move because you got a quality RV and a year from now you will not be looking to upgrade to a bigger or better RV. I have a Stoneridge RK and really like it! You are in for the time of your life. Enjoy your new adventures with it!!!

We are pulling with Dodge Ram 3500. I am chomping at the bit to get out and go, spent the majority of the weekend in Fiji, in the back yard.

I ordered 1 of the first 38fl models over 3 years ago. It has been a fantastic unit! In over 3 years and 15,000 miles, virtually NO problems. I've been in at least 8 other brands of front living units and none of them fell as open and airy as the stone ridge. I hope you enjoy yours as much as we do ours.

Welcome! I'm originally from the Rockford area but live in Rhode Island now. We try and make the trip back there about once a year. Enjoy your new family member!

If I enjoy it half as much out on the road as I am in my back yard, things are going to be great! Wolftrax, we seem to be opposites ... I'm originally from Massachusetts, now I'm about 45 minutes from Rockford area.
