I have the Sportsmen Show Stopper LE S242SBHSS that has the mini outdoor kitchen with the mini fridge. When the trailer is connected to AC power the mini fridge is always on and from what I can tell by reading the fridge manual, no way to shut it off. I removed the single screw holding the mini fridge pulled out the fridge to get to the plug. I plan on just leaving it unplugged for now as I don’t need this using electricity while plugged into the house and not camping. Just wondering what others have done for this? Did you install a switch or use a power strip to control it? Maybe I’m missing something and there is another way of shutting it off? There doesn’t appear to be a separate breaker for this in the power panel. Bob

If there is no dial inside I would install a switch. I would try to find a 20 amp switch so it won't ever get hot. Outlet strip is too light in my opinion to use that switch. You could also run a dedicated breaker to it if there isn't already. Then just turn off the breaker.

Thanks for the input Andy. I guess I'll have to look into adding a switch of some sort, I find it hard to believe that this was not something that was incorporated in the design. I think its great to have the apartment size fridge outside but definitely don't want it running all the time when plugged into AC. For now I'll just leave it unplugged.

We have had our Sportsmen Showstopper for 10 months now. In that time we have never used the mini-frig. It has been just been sitting there using electricity. So last week, I removed it and put it in my storage shed. I plan to use the space for the storage of items I need when using the outside cooktop . I also plan to store my small Weber grill and charcoal in there.
