Thanks for the add! My husband and I just bought our first KZ 5th wheel back in late January and absolutely LOVE, LOVE...LOVE IT! We got the 2015 39FL (Front Living floor plan) It's actually only one of four made in the "Prestige" line. (KZ is still trying to see if they can use the name) We bought it from a dealer in Albertville, AL (Hall's RV) who bought all four from them and the last I saw, they still had one left on the lot that was a rear living floor plan. Y'all...there's not one thing I'd change about this camper. I love it! It's everything we wanted and then some! My Husband has nick named it the "White knuckle castle" because that's what his hands look like on the steering wheel when he was trying to navigate the winding roads that always seem to lead to the campgrounds. I'm so glad I found this site!

Welcome. Looks like you may have one of the last ones. We have a stoneridge and have been real happy with it. Was hoping to replace it next year with prestige line. Maybe I'll have to go to Alabama and get the last one available .

Welcome, glad you were able to find your dream floor plan, it's one of the things that drew us to the KZ line.

please post pictures of interior camper. I have one of the 1st Stone ridge 38fl units that came out, a 2012 model, and i would love to see what changes they made. From the outside pictures you posted, it appears to be a different floorpan from mine and the new Durango gold front living floorpan. Does it have the electric cord reel, the heat pumps and the convection microwave? is the interior light or dark.?

It does have an electric cord reel, convection microwave oven, 50" TV in the living area with reclining loveseat facing the TV. The sofas will fold out to make one large sleeping area in the front. We took out the dinette set to make a sleeping area for our dogs. The bedroom in the back has a king size bed and the bathroom in the hallway has a fullsize residential size shower. At the moment, I'm not sure about the heat pump question...I don't have the specs here at the house. I just know we absolutely LOVE this RV!

it is a beautiful coach. it seems to have addressed most, if not all, the changes that we would like after using the stone ridge 38fl for three years. if your unit did not come with the good year g rated tires, i strongly recommend that you get rid of the "china bombs" asap and put the good years on it. I'm on my 4th fiver in the last ten years and had failures on 2 of them that were very costly (over $2000) each because of tire blowouts. it appears that you truly have a unique "one of a kind" camper as i understand that KZ will not be making an upscale trailer in the future. the durango gold is nice, but the floor plan is different from yours and the interior does not appear as nice to me. also it does not have a rear cap like ours does and makes the unit look cheap from behind. it is a shame that a company that is capable of making a truly nice upscale unit has elected not to do so. if you did any research, you will note that they were the only company making the front living floor plan @ 14000 gvw and about 2300# pin weight. all the others that i researched were 1000 to 1500 pounds heavier with a heavier pin weight. To me, the kz is the only front living that is truly 3/4 ton towable. If i could get a unit like yours, i would probably go trade today. Enjoy your "one of a kind" camper knowing you literally have the only one like it.

I asked my husband about the tires and he said they are "Sailun" LT235 85 R16 ....He wants to put the Goodyear's on it but wants to know what you'd suggest.

The tires you have on the unit ar considered excellent tires. The are light truck tires that some folks consider to be in the same category as the good years. I wouldn't be concerned about your tires with on it. They should be g rated tires that run about 110 pounds air pressure. Keep them properly inflated, and you should get 3 to 5 years of service. One thing I recommend is to take most of the weight off the tires with your jacks when you are not pulling your trailer. That will make them last longer. Also if you can store your unit out of the ultraviolet sunlight, they last longer. Looks like you are in good shape on tires.

We are doing most all of that already. We also have it stored under an enclosure that keeps it out of the weather. My husband thanks you for your feedback! He said you just gave him more information than he's been able to find online since we got it back in January. (oh, and we also just bought a TPMS system for it last week too. Worked like a charm!) Thank you again!
