Hello everyone, we are new to the KZ forum and it seemed fitting since we (wife and I) bought a 2016 D281RLT Durango 1500 and here is my first thought....WOW!!!! We owned a 1993 Prowler 25.5 5th wheel and loved every bit of it (cause it was paid for ) so after we came home from our California Coastal trip we knew it was time for a new 5Th wheel and I have to say I had no idea what KZ even was. My wife and I were looking along the lines of Rockwood 5th wheel and even were pulled towards Keystone Cougar nothing to big since its just the 3 of us. I have to say I was not to impressed with what I've seen with both trailers, they both always had some flaw to them and when you are paying over 40,000 for an RV you will notice those little imperfections it was when I heard my wife say from a far this is it. I walked over to the trailer looked at the outside and ventured to the inside and WOW!!!!! she was beautiful and was put together very well, I had know Ideal an RV could be sooooo beautiful. Well thank you for excepting us to your forum and hope we have many stories to tell. Tried to put some pics on there but file was to big.....

Welcome to the KZ family! We are on our second KZ--the first was a Montego bay which was great then in 2012 we upgraded to a Stoneridge and have had only a few minor problems which the dealer took care of for us. I think you will not regret getting a KZ. Good luck and enjoy your new 5er!!!!

It was so rock solid and comfy that I didn't think I could part with it. We attend a lot of RV shows and when moving around, we often spend an afternoon looking at new RV's. I would step in and back out. So many cheapies, flaws and bad floor plans. When I stepped into our Stone Ridge KZ 38' 4 slide, I was home. It is the most beautiful floor plan I have seen. We are so pleased with everything. We are full time so we needed a home we could live in and be comfortable. Those were and still are my sentiments exactly: WOW.
Happy Trails and camping. Karl and Lois
