Greetings from Karl and Lois. We just bought a 2013 KZ fifth wheel Stone Ridge 36RLB with four slides. We are very happy with the living arrangement and the décor. There are many details in this new home that make us very comfortable. As full timers and work campers we are hoping for many years; enjoying our lifestyle and new home. We have used the fireplace (yes, in July) we are in Minnesota for the summer.
We have gone to many RV Shows around the country. Usually when I stepped into a new fifth wheel I could see the kitchen and would just back out. The kitchen was the only thing I was looking at. Five years of looking and enjoying the search. When I walked into this KZ fifth wheel and looked at the floor plan, I knew I was home. I was finally ready to let our Montana go.
We have been on the road for 7 years now and enjoy and appreciate everything about the freedom to pick up and move. We have work camped for 4 of those years.
We are both retired. We enjoy golf, hiking taking our "little rescue Maltese" Andy, for long walks. We enjoy the simple things in life. Our favorite place so far has been Estes Park, Co. and northern Minnesota north shore of Lake Superior. We have covered all the continental states except Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Our favorite state is Texas, but we love America and stay long enough everywhere to get the "feel" of a town and the area. We usually stay at COE parks while between jobs in spring and fall. We volunteer to keep our work hours low allowing us time to explore.

Hi, welcome to the group! We have a maltese too, he's 6 and weighs a whopping 4 pounds soaking wet. Everyone thinks he's a puppy because of his size. I'm looking forward to our full time days, but with work we're just weekend warriors with a couple longish trips a year.

Welcome to the group!! We had a KZ Montego Bay which was really a great RV but my wife was not happy with the kitchen also so we traded it in on a 2013 Stoneridge RK and now she has plenty of kitchen space. Since I like to eat and she is a really good cook, upgrading to the Stoneridge was a good move! We have sone pictures of the RK Stoneridge posted in the Stoneridge section of the forum. Just look for the thread "pictures of our Stoneridge 36RK". I think this model has about the biggest kitchen offered. We love ours and only had a few minor problems that the dealer took care of for us. I think you are going to be real happy with your new RV.
ENJOY!!! Thane and Sharon

Welcome Karl and Lois. We upgraded to a Stoneridge two years ago. We do vacation a couple times a year and I live in it while working out of town. Not full time but I call it heavy part time. Been great so far.
