I was actually looking for a section for issues. We just purchased our Sportsmen Show Stopper LE S242SBHSS last Friday and have an issue with the awning LED lights not working. I was hoping there was an Issues section to see if anyone else had the same issue and what was done to fix it. Called the dealer where I bought it from and they told me to check the switch or wait a few weeks to get it in. Did a general search and have been unable to see any one else with this same issue. Bob

Not sure if anyone else will ever run into the issue I had with the awning LED lights not working, so I wanted to post the solution to my particular issue in case anyone does. The LED lights would only work sporadically and would frequently blow a fuse when it did work. I called Carefree of Colorado and they sent me the service manuals for the awning so I could try and troubleshoot the issue without needing to run the trailer back to the dealer which is about an hour away. I ended up finding that one of the screws used to attach the motor arm to the awning tube had pinched and nearly severed the LED wiring in the tube. I removed the bad spot and spliced the wires back together and everything works correctly now.
