Picked up my used 2008 Spree 280 RL yesterday. Got it home and the slide would not extend. Pondered it over night and decided it must be a shear pin. Took a look at the motor, which has obviously been replaced once, and the cotter key in the manual side was fine. The motor runs, the shaft spins but no movemwnrnt on the slide. Pondered it some more and got out the manual crank. Crank it all the way open which was fairly easy. The, I tried the electric motor again and voila! It brought the room in. Tried to put it back out and no go. Cranked it out manually a few inches and tried the motor again. It works fine. I just jave to get it started with the manual crank. Any ideas. Maybe a worn gear when its nested. I can live with this for a while but it would be nice to get it working properly.
