I have a 2015 Spree Escape E18RBT RV, Serial Number- 4EZTA1813F4053157. My question is what kind of axle wheel bearings do I have, sealed, ez lube or manual repack? The Dexter Axle manual that comes with the RV indicates it could be any one of the three I have mentioned. The video that is linked in the manual shows only the full removal and repacking of the wheel bearings with grease. I would like to add grease to the bearings but only if I have the ez-lube grease fitting connection to the hub. If I do have the ez-lube connection can I access the rubber seal by removing the cone covering the hub or do I have to remove the wheel to access the rubber seal? I would ask my dealership where I purchased the RV but not sure I would get the correct answer, so I am asking here. Thanks for any help.

If it is like my Spree Escape 16BH, you will have to remove the wheel to get to the EZ Lube zerk. If you take of the outer hub, there is another inside hub to be taken off. Now mine is at a shop for a re-pack, it would be funny if they called and said they were sealed bearings. But I am pretty sure you have have the EZLube system. I plan to by a new hub that allows you to get to the zerk with out removing the wheel. My dealer said most units come with the EZ Lube now days and was sure I had these as wheel. On the walk through he said we had them, but I still questioned it. But I really do not want to remove the wheel all the time for a grease.
