The description for this General forum indicates we can talk about "anything" here so I guess this is as good a place as any to ask if the forum owner would consider adding a Wish List Forum - a place where we KZ owners can offer suggestions as to what we'd like to see KZ do to improve the product line. ;D

It is my understanding that this forum is owned by KZ. This is one of the things that the marketing department is trying to establish a (hopefully) 2 way communication between kz and their customers. The other forum (kzownersforum) is a privately owned forum set up by and for kz owners to be able to communicate with other kz owners about their units and other general rv issues. Whether the 2 forums will ever merge will be up to the owners.

My understanding (I stand to be corrected) is this forum was set up and started by Dave Boggs who recently came to KZ from Crossroads. I believe KZ does monitor it but do not know if they will actively participate. If you have ever looked at the CR forum it is excellent and very active. I hope this KZ forum will become that way.

you may well be correct. I was talking to dave yesterday and he was the one that told me about this forum. However, i may have misunderstood the ownership part of it. I got the impression that it is under the auspices of KZ.

Sure, but what has any of this to do with my suggestion that another forum called Wish List (or whatever the forum owners deem appropriate) be added under the General column? That way, rather than having ideas owners would like to present to KZ showing up all over the map they'd be concentrated under one single forum heading.

I'd like to see a "What's New" or a company news section where KZ could post pics and new product designs they are working on. Or even show KZ branded or approved aftermarket accessories they could offer through dealers or on-line sales. Maybe even start a Cafepress store where shirts and logo merchandise could be sold. www.cafepress.com/

Could we have a "mark all messages as read" button. So we can see at a glance any new posts.

I'd like to see customer modifications available as upgrade packages. For instance, if you buy a Sportsmen Classic 14RB and you think, "Wow this would be a perfect trailer if it just had a bed and dining table at the same time (no converting)!" and KZ got customer input on how to make this happen...they could offer you this Customer inspired upgrade for a few bucks and your trailer is customized perfectly for you without any labor. There are so many improvements that can be made to the 14RB that turn it from a great trailer into a SUPER trailer. Customers live with their trailers and they can tell you better than any designer what works and what doesn't.

I got the impression that it is under the auspices of KZ. I worked for a few years at Beaver Coaches and at that time they would also keep tabs on their Forum. They had a person who spent a little time checking the posts before doing their regular job. What better way to have customer input than just working through the dealer. Notes were taken but the only time they really chimed in was if a safety issue was being discussed or the reason why something could not be done. Bob

I once posted an issue I had with our Durango and someone from KZ inquired if I had solved my issue through my local dealer ... so at least at that point they were monitoring it.
