Well, just an update on this nose cap issue I have. It is extreme faded. Our unit is just two years old. KZ said they would take care of it no problem. They wanted me to bring it back to the dealer two plus hours away and they were to replace the whole front cap. I questioned this as I could just imagine the roof leaking, and several other issues. Plus maybe in two more years it would fade again.
Well, KZ has now decided to pay a local collision center to paint it. KZ has already sent my dealer new decals. I think this is a great idea. I'm going to pay extra if needed to have it cleared too. Hope the finish is nice and maybe bugs will come off better.
I don't know how KZ sellout will affect things in the future but hope this is a sign of still a great product and support.

I wonder if they put a clearcoat over top of the decals?

I wonder if they put a clearcoat over top of the decals? That's what I was thinking too. I'll ask the collision center guy when he comes here. Hopefully today.

I am having the same issue with my cap. KZ has been great and is working with my local RV dealer and I should have it done soon

My collision center guy never showed to do an estimate. I haven't found another company and I'm leaving next week for a month for work. I just hope they still will cover the cost when I get back. Keep us updated how yours turns out.

New member here. I have a 2013 Stoneridge. My cap is also severely faded for just two years old. I sent a message to KZ to see If they will do anything for it.

This is an industry wide problem. I'm guessing they will fix it but who knows now that it isn't kz anymore. Mine is not fixed yet. Have not been able to get home with it yet.
