Pretty slick! Curious to learn how much it helps.

Same here. Did it improve efficiency of the fridge?

After using this mod for 4 1/2 weeks I've come to the conclusion that it stabilizes the fridge temperature quickly after adding unrefrigerated items. During a short (2 days) hot spell I didn't have to change the setting and the temperature remained steady at 36 degrees.

I bought one from Amazon (Camco) that runs off batteries. Works well & can be moved around where needed.

We always start our trip with the frig cold and packed with frozen (in freezer) and cold food in frig compartment. So far the unit has kept up with any changes in temperature without an issue. But the addition of a fan may become necessary to help stability temperatures as the unit begins to ages. Or my wife will use that as an excuse to claim we must get a new TT .

Starting off the fridge chilled would be ideal. We store our trailer a short distance from our favorite Provincial Park. First thing we do is start up the the fridge on propane when we pick it up. We find the fans help to cool the fridge in less than four hours to approximately 36°F.
