I'm puzzled as to why KZ is putting all their efforts into the durango gold line and no changes to the stone ridge. For example they introduced a front living model in the durango gold line that has a much improved layout over the stone ridge 38fl. I'be owned a 38fl for 3 years now, which we love, but most of the design changes that we would like to see have been incorporated into the Durango gold unit and no changes in the stone ridge. Why not take the Durango gold model and offer it with upgrades in the stone ridge line? My stone ridge came with a power reel for the power cord, heat pumps in the a/c units, good year g rated tires and other options that, as I read it, are not available on the Durango gold. The stone ridge should, as I understand it, be the "top of the line" offering from kz and I don,t think that is now the case.. If they offered the stone ridge with the new plan, I'd probably order one next week. Kz, please consider this.

Yeah, when I bought my Durango 2500, it was the next to the best offered. I couldn't get the Stone Ridge because it was too tall and too long for my purposes. Now the Durango 2500 is almost the bottom of the line and everything above it is too long.
I wish KZ would realize that a customer may need a unit under 13 feet tall and under 35 feet long, but they still want all the quality and bells/whistles that the top of the line unit brings.

my dealer told me Thor is making a lot of changes and telling dealers if you want a line you will have minimum inventories to maintain. I bet Thor screws KZ up just like they did with Crossroads and piss off the great dealer base KZ had and drive them away.

They made 4 of the "Prestige" line that came out at the first of this year. We bought one of them and we absolutely LOVE IT. It's the front living floor plan. They sold all 4 to one dealer in Alabama and they still have one of the Prestige line in stock. It's not the front living floor plan, but it's the last one they have. We asked the last time we were there if they were going to go ahead with the line and she said they were still undecided with the prototype. After reading the listing on the one they have left...it doesn't look like it. (which is sad because it's absolutely a beautiful rig.) We've done a lot of extra things to ours already to make it more like "home" but there's nothing that we would change about it at all. www.hallsrvsales.com/default.asp?page=xNewInventoryDetail&id=1109591&p=2&s=Year&d=D&t=new&fr=xNewInventory
