We tried to get LED puck lights in our new 2014 Spree but the factory apparently said that they could not do it - something to do with the weight of the lights and the new arched ceiling. So we ended up with the basic pancake style of lights (LED). As an EE, I used to design lighting systems in buildings and to me the pancake style of lights just look so outdated and boring, not to mention everyone else has got'em. I came across an alternative made by Kaper II at an RV show and ended replacing all the ceiling lights with them. They have roughly the same footprint as the pancake lights so they hide the screw holes in the luan. The lights are about 3/4" thick, are very lightweight and produce an adequate illumination level - about the same as the old ones. Because they have an opal diffuser as opposed to a prismatic lens, they are quite a bit less glary. I also installed an additional one next to the kitchen counter and a 2nd one in the bedroom. I replaced all the pancake lights under cabinets with LED puck lights and may post about them in another thread. The last time I looked, these lights are not on the Kaper website but local RV dealers have them around here, so I presume everywhere else too. I ordered all LED bulbs for all my lights 2 years ago from china....cost me 30 bucks to do the entire camper (30 bulbs) including postage. I also installed an RGB 16ft LED strip light under the awning with an rf remote. I bought an extra remote that stays in the car so when we arrive after dark a push of a button and we have tons of light. Nice thing is LED lights do not attract bugs.

I replaced the 921 lights in my Sportsman, with LEDs GRV T10 921 194 24-3528 from Amazon. They cost about 24+shipping, for 10 lights.
