New member. New kz 13kft owner since past summer. Thinking of adding a front window with rock guard. Trying to bring in extra daylight. Has anyone ever installed one? Thanks

Never installed one but our previous tt had one....also had a cover which when opened/raised became the awning. If selecting windows would recommend a cover when traveling. Can check with others on their opinion as to the need for a cover.

Thanks for the welcome friends. I'll post pics if I venture into this after spring thaw.

Remember that the front of the trailer has a gale force wind that will force rain into any openings. I understand wanting the window, but potential problems come with it. Many RV companies dropped front windows and now install one piece caps.
If you do want to proceed with the install, first get the blueprint of the wall from KZ. You don't want to start cutting and discover framework is in the way.

Adding the window will probably void the warranty.
