:-/When I first got my 06 escalade I was a very proud and happy camper. I especially enjoyed when fellow RV.rs would comment on how nice it was and could they look inside who makes it and more. During the 2 yr. warranty I started having paint/ clear coat problems. First the dome pealed and was repainted then an area above the door. All was good for about a year then all of the dark areas began to peal until at present most all dark areas are completely peeled off. I was wandering if any of you experienced the same thing. I brought this to k.z.s attention a month ago pictures and all but have not been contacted by them yet . Hopefully they can help to resolve this prob. soon because all fellow RV.rs say now is dude what the hell,s wrong with your paint that looks terrible I thought Escalade was a top of line product. To which I have no answer. Please help if you have any info.

P.S.....If I can figure out how to upload a pic of our trailer I will do that. Otherwise can send an email and would also like to see if your coach has the same design with the grey and rust design. Will follow up once we get it repaired with before & after pics! Love the trailer, embarrassed after taking it out for the last 5 days and answering ?'s about the paint!!

WHEN K.Z. 1ST REPLIED THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT HELP BECAUSE I WAS NOT THE ORIG. OWNER. BUT I AM THEN THEY ASKED WHY I WAITED SO LONG TO SAY ANYTHING. I TOLD THEM THE DAMAGE IS SLOW TO SHOW ITS SELF AND STARTS OUT SMALL THEN EVENTUALLY COVERED ALL DARK AREAS. MY COACH IS NOT GREY GRAPHICS THEY ARE A METALLIC BROWN. I DID HAVE IT LOOKED AT AND WAS TOLD ITS DUE TO THE PAINT BEING TO DRY WHEN THE CLEAR WAS APPLIED. POSS. PAINTED ON FRI. AND CLEARED ON MON. STILL WAITING ON K.Z. TO REVIEW MY CLAIM I DONT KNOW HOW MUCH AREA YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT BUT 1100 IS CHEAP I WAS QUOTED 7000 FOR JUST THE DARK AREAS AND 15000 + FOR THE WHOLE COACH . THATS WHY KZ. HAS TO STEP UP AND FIX IT.NOT ONLY IS IT EMBARRASSING ITS A BAD REP. FOR KZ. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

We're struggling with issues with a leaky Sportsmen Classic and not having much luck with KZ either. The customer support reps are friendly but they can only do so much.
If you have success please let me know.

since I last posted I have had my coach repainted. After a month or so of back and forth with k.z. they agreed to have it repained at a shop they work with in calif. however it was in sacramento and I am in l.a. area. Option B was to find a local shop willing to take the 3400 that k.z. would pay. Most est. were 7000 and up . I remembered a shop I saw at the pomona r.v. show and called them 3500 they did it for better than new no shit. When it was done they used it in the show as an example of there quality of work. I could not be more happy both with k.z. and the guys at R.V.PAINT PROS in pomona ca. for there superior work and fair pricing. her is there info I would recommend that any one considering repainting there r.v. see these guys first. call Frank or Dave at 909 628 3605 or rvpaintpros@gmail.com you will be glad you did

I have a 2008 Escalade with clear coat issues the factory paid for front and rear caps to be repainted but have refused to reimburse me for the others. Every year I have new areas repainted. The clear appears to be only 1 coat and starts with bubbles and then comes off. They know they have issues but refuse to stand up and take care of the issue
